Erik ten Hag insists he has no concerns about his Manchester United future because those deciding his fate have "common sense".
Ten Hag's position as United manager is under intense scrutiny ahead of Sunday's visit of title-challenging Arsenal - live on Sky Sports.
United are on course to have their worst season in the Premier League era, with Ten Hag's injury-ravaged side in eighth and in poor form ahead of a tough end to the campaign.

I like TH. I want him to succeed. I don’t mind losing. I don’t mind building for the future ,whilst struggling in the short term. What I really struggle with is that I dont understand what the hell he is trying to achieve. United play awful football and defend terribly. The only reason we are not in a relegation battle is because we have good players who come up with “ moments “. I see nothing for the future in terms of style of play or strategy. The team look like they have no idea what they are doing. Under Ole they played like a bunch of disjointed individuals. What’s changed?

@@dondamon4669 I'm not a man utd fan, I'm a boro fan, but I watch pretty much every utd game becuse I find them entertaining. I have watched football for 40 years, played and managed at a reasonable level, I have never seen such bad tactics at that level. The defence is 40 yards behind the midfield. Their man for man in midfield when they have no pace... the wingers don't track back. His signings have been awful, tactics worse and man management is terrible. He's bad with the press and lacks charisma.

Some United fans are shallow in their thinking when it comes to replacing the manager every time the team is not performing. With regards to the standards of modern football United has been relegated from Top to a 3rd class status, one cannot be proud of the iconic stadium anymore due to leakages and other problems which have been compounded by the ineptness of clueless Glazers, who for over 15 years have not invested wisely into the club driving united into a ditch. Now we have good manager but bad management practices, low standards and if you expect everything the team to be in sync and strong that is fantasy. It takes time to build a solid team and you need good leadership from the Top MANAGEMENT down to the players.

@@Wearethewingmakers Yeah, I remember Anthony had two or three early games where he looked okay but lacking an end product. Then he was pretty poor for the rest of the season. Maybe the worst signing in the league last year, definitely one of the worst. I think signing Anthony has caused serious damage to Ten Hag's reputation. Mount was overpriced, but he's been injured all year and didn't cost as much. But I understand your point of view now that you've explained it.

Then why play so open? Play 5 at the back, fortify the midfield, etc. You don’t leave a massive space between midfield and defense. You adapt. Good managers deal with injuries by adjusting the system.

Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Rangnik and Ten Hag cannot be bad managers overnight, they were all operating in a very toxic environment and failure was inevitable even after initial the successes. We wasted 3 years be patient with Ole, why can't we do same for a more established and modern coach who wants to uplift the low standards at United. PLAYER POWER SHOULD BE ELIMINATED! The players should be told in their faces ride with us or you're gone.
