7 жыл бұрынNorwegian punk band Sløtface bring the Melodrama, covering Lorde's 'Supercut' for triple j's Like A Version. Like A Version is a segment on Australian radio station triple j. Every week a musician or band comes into the studio to play one of their own songs and cover a song they love.

Never heard of Sløtface prior but the way she sings "It's just the Supercut of us" really gets me. Definitey going to check out more of them.

artists change the lyrics to songs they cover all the time. and for those complaining about her lazy singing, if you listen to their original music, it seems to be her style. the punk label comes from the instrumentals and thr general attitude of their music / lyrics.

A much more subdue emotion than the original, but is still a solid cover! They definitely make it their own; take it or leave it...

A completely different sound and feeling from Lorde’s version, but surprisingly I like it (Though I do wish during the “in you car the radio up....” part there was a more energy/emphasis)

Love the sound of her singing and the general vibe, but wow that’s a terrible arrangement for the rest of the instruments. It’s like y’all told them the chords and they just played whatever they wanted while she sang. Low effort.. good voice, terribly messy arrangement with no purpose
