Excellent work on this! Tiger's eye is one of my favorites. That was a pretty nice chunk to work with.

Nice work…Tiger Eye is some pretty material. I got some larger pieces from Nature’s Treasures and most of it came out great in the tumbler. Eventually I will break down and get a cab machine…I need a bigger garage…

I understand, mine has quickly become too small. I am currently rebuilding a couple of vintage cabbing systems which will be tough to place in my current shop 😥.

I learn from you Thanks! Was that about a fourth inch cab slab? When I’m at the creek last two days I think about you when I see smaller pieces to Tumble. Very nice!

Thanks for the kind words! My slabs are usually around 3/8” but it varies. I like thicker ones because it gives me more room for mistakes 😆 !

What kind of respiration you use when working with tigers eye? It contains crocidolite and i'm afraid to tumble it due to dust created

Hi, thanks for watching! I use a respirator whenever I dry sand any stone but with cabbing I don’t because I use prodigious amounts of water to prevent any dust from forming.
