A old school just more exciting to see. The new cars nice as hell but it’s nothing like seeing a 60’s, 70’s or 80’s model car coming down. I love older cars regardless if it’s factory or fixed up

Don’t get me wrong new schools are clean but if u want hydraulics or super hard trunk action old school is the way. New school cars can do more fly stuff.

A lot of the old school cars are 30-50 years old thats non stop maintenance. I love the look as the wheels are designed for that frame however they have aged out.

In the 90's majority of the slabs was cars from the 80's so in reality majority of the slabs always was older cars new car slabs wasn't of the norm until later 90's even when slabs first started in the 80's boys was fixing up cars from the mid&late 70's

It’s a newer car not too long out of the dealership. It’s impossible to have to need to touch the front to the back. You just don’t need to do it new cars or easier to work with just say that.

How are they easier to work with when he literally redid every single thing on the car. It’s more of a headache if anything simply due to electrical work.

The game boring because 1.) people don’t have the patience so they pull out half done, 2.) Everybody don’t know each other…so every time you pull up it’s all these new faces people don’t know how to talk or everybody wanna act tough so everybody just chill by they car. It’s like the game been commercialized. People build cars but only come out for music videos or events. Remember the slab is the BLACKTOP the blacktop is where the culture is. The cars are just the style that we do in Houston. Like Florida with the Donks and Cali with the Lows… Back in the day if a few cars pull up and it’s a BBQ the kids out playing with the other kids, you out laughing and talking and eating, people was actual friends north side and south side…that’s what made it fun…now every scene is just a regular car show…might as well be at George R Brown or something. People losing the culture by focusing on just the cars alone. The people and the cars make the culture…that’s why the car is not the SLAB the slab is the scene, the blacktop where we all show up like Carros. If you put all the focus on just the car, the whole culture get boring.

Slab game is boring all because of TWW, it was more fun when you only had cragars, now anybody can ride swangas nerds, lames, bustas, and all. 2nd my definition of a slab og is someone who was riding slab in the 80's, 90's and before 05...
