It's written in the Finnish traditional song style called rekilaulu where a group people repeats the lines after the foresinger. The lyrics in English go about someting like this: 1. Vellamo (the name of the goddes of water in Finnish mythology) took my hammer when I tried to put a pole / spear into the bottom (of a lake) - repeat Water is so black it hampers the search - repeat 2. Saimaa ringed seal is basking on a rock in warm weather - repeat When one's so free, it'll make heads turn around - repeat 3. If all the lakes were booze one's liver wouldn't take it - repeat Saimaa (the lake) is so vast and I'm a little shit - repeat I hope that helped a bit 😅

One of them is and Blackbird Raum is a great band but this is based on Finnish traditional music. I guess Raum people have listened relatively a lot of Northern European folk music 🤔
