So, if you're wondering why Slade hates the Titans so much, it's because he holds them responsible for the death of his oldest son Grant Wilson in the comics after a botched up experiment done by the H.I.V.E. who tried to replicate the same serum that turned Slade into Deathstroke but it had deadlier side effects. The H.I.V.E. originally wanted to hire Slade to kill the Titans but since he refused at first, they convinced his son Grant to work for them in exchange for revenge against the Titans over something that wasn't even their fault (he lost his apartment after the Gordanians crashed into it looking for Starfire, and the Titans intervened when he was having a fight with his girlfriend Carol). Long story short, Grant had enhanced abilities similar to his father Slade but the more he fought the Titans, the more he was cooking on the inside out. Raven could sense he was dying but even when they tried to stop him from fighting, it was too late. Grant ended up dying. So Slade, being a bit more emotionally impulsive in the comics, he blames the Titans for the death of his son instead of blaming the H.I.V.E., and decided to finish his son's contract by killing the Titans. But what Slade didn't know was that it was exactly what the H.I.V.E. wanted. They knew Grant would die from the side effects while fighting the Titans and hoped that this would be enough to trick Slade into working with them. So, in reality, Slade got played rather than the other way around. Now, with the whole Terra business. Terra in the original comics was also working as a hitwoman before she met Slade and despised the Titans with the passion of a thousand suns, and she and Slade ended up teaming up to kill the Titans. But I have to agree that the writers went a little too far with putting them in a relationship in the comics. While Terra in the original comics was despicable and sadistic, it still didn't feel right to have her in a relationship with Slade when she was only 15 and he was in his late thirties. I have no idea what the writers were thinking.

The whole -Deathstroke- Slade and Terra thing in the comics was straight up gross. People say Slade groomed Terra, but it was actually written in a way that Terra wanted it. Definitely some writer's sick ass fantasy that somehow got published. Slade is still a disgusting menace, but whoever wrote that shit needs jail just for thinking it was okay to put in a comic.

Slade literally had a thing with Terra when she was like 16 in the Judas Contract comic and the DCAMU. Which is the only time I’ve ever seen that actually get depicted really. Plus in general Slade in this show literally manipulates, threatens, coerces, stalks, and messes with literal teenagers he wants as apprentices or who are related to his master……even without the Judas Contract comic he’s a creepy bastard to me. Also probably my favorite DC villain. Also Slade has a son in the show: Jericho. To be fair Raven IS part demon and his character and really she was the one to defeat him. They just helped.

Raven is quite the baddie I must say. He’s got his priorities for sure.

Age: Unlike the other Titans, Raven has a unique situation when it comes to her age. She's 18 in the comics as she mentions coming to Earth to form Teen Titans at eighteen. In a reboot comic version of Raven, she's a year younger, in the age range of 16-17.

So during post crisis it was heavily implied Deathstroke and Terra banged at some point during Judas Contract. While Rebirth retcon on this, Slade still had the audacity to make out with Terra in order to gain her trust after telling her to not carry out the Judas Contract. Though it's pretty obvious Slade never loved her or had any real intimate relationship with Terra in both cases. Which even he comfirmed in Rebirth. So what do you guys think?

nah the fact is slade or deathstoke is not only an enemy to the titans, hes technically a batman villain so having slade do all of this and still be a batman and nightwing villain is crazy mainly because, my guy came back from the dead, fr drugged robin, litterly manipulating robin, terra, and even raven, so having this slade being a villain of the dark knight himself, to being a villain to nightwing, just utterly insane

Tbh I don't think the whole terra and slade issue is a character issue. I believe its more of a writer issue because if someone wrote the relationship thinking it was okay then that reflects more on them than him. Getting mad at slade is not going to fix the mindset of how it was written.
