Slade was truly an example of high quality villain work, Teen Titans was too before its time

Except they basically just toned down the version of -Deathstroke- Slade from the comics. The reason why he's so on sight basis with Robin is because his son was a Teen Titan that sacrificed himself on a mission to save everyone else. Slade thinks Robin, the leader at the time, left him for dead. Slade's other son Jericho joined the Teen Titans because of his boyfriend and got killed in action later. Terra was actually evil from the start, and having a sexual relationship with the middle-aged Slade while she was still 15 and then there's some other shit with Slade's daughter that... yeah, be sure to have safe search on if you want to google it. Slade should be the only human Omega Level Threat in DC comics.

Slade in the comics goes toe to toe with Batman in combat and he has a super soldier serum in him.

Honestly, with how Slade is...the reason Terra got the wack ass suit is because he really didn't care for her and made it so that it wasn't as up to a fight as Robin's suit. Like, the difference in quality is way too big to not notice...
