Is commercial fishing what commercial fishing has come to? Yes. That doesn't mean you have to do it though. Go and enjoy whatever fishing you like and other people can do the same. I don't like carp fishing (sleeping in a tent, getting drunk and waiting for a beep isn't fishing to me) but others do, and guess what, I let them get on with it no matter what my opinion is.

Loch Lomond is rather good, and slightly better scenery than a muddy puddle for sure. Absolutely superb fishing for a crazy amount of species too. This mud thrashing makes me sad, and for the poor fish.
