The Mohali district police have booked suspended CISF personnel Kulwinder Kaur for allegedly assaulting Mandi MP-elect Kangana Ranaut. An FIR was registered under Sections 323 and 341 of the IPC. The incident occurred at Mohali airport when Kaur allegedly slapped Ranaut as she was boarding a flight. CISF suspended Kaur and initiated a departmental inquiry, also filing a complaint with the local police.

Kulwinder Kaur must be severely punished immediately with no concession. If she is that aggrieved she has every opportunity to file a case against Kangana. She has attacked physically, insulted the passenger with whom she must be polite n cooperative for travel. Rowdy staff must be dismissed from service.
