@jasonsheets26942 жыл бұрын
@@smugbum Probably really, really good.lol Wes Borland is also a great guitarist. The greats can pick up a guitar and play whatever they want. If you know the fretboard, scales, and a little theory you can play any style of music. The pros play the exact same scales beginners learn to play. The pros just do it way faster and make it look easy. Lol

I just saw GnR in Raleigh. Slash is still an amazing guitarist. They jammed a blues riff while Axl was off stage resting/ tending his voice. Slash never missed a note. He is such a phenomenal guitarist. That's why he will go down as one of the best to ever play. Pushing 60 years old and still has it. I've heard other players his age in elite bands missing notes left and right during solos. It's almost like it's too fast and they don't have the speed/ dexterity to keep up anymore. I could listen to Slash jam a blues riff all day long and be happy.

beauty is skin deep. it's sounds quite naff. why do you insist on second best, it's not even third or 4th best. it's just another stupid myth created to make us all feel somehow less worthy. it's not working, les paul's are generally quite awkward and i can image a near 60 year old one being an absolute cunt. can you imagine trying to insure it. they look shit now anyway. slash is a prick and his band is even shittier. the only guitarist of his generation playing a les paul? what? haven't you heard of viv campbell, saul? not only was he also playing a gibson les paul, but he's waaaaay better than saul fudson. that's his new name by the way, 'fudson's shitpit'. and all those guitars!! fuck sake.. and yet snakepit, sorry shitpit was THE worst album i ever heard & the only album i ever took back to the shop. what an accolade. use your illusion 1 and ii are absolute guff from start to finish.how many? how much? oh really... total nonsense. here's a clue fudson; buy a str☠tofuckin'c☠ster and fit a seymour fuckin' dunc☠n in it, sounds 100 times better than any les fucking paul ever fucking made. and these fuckin' fucks proves it beyond any fuckin' doubt fucker. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aZikibSgsdbGpIE.html and Ruϟϟo kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lb-UfaWUltqah2g.html ☠

"speed if for people with no talent" I guess Bach, Paganini, Vai, Jason Becker, Friedman etc. had/have no talent, then? Wake up. Yeah, it isn't about speed; it's about expression, and expression comes in various forms. TRUE musicians/music fans can appreciate various types of expression. Good music can be slow or fast. You, my friend, are just a narrow minded fanboy. Gilmour, Beck, Page, Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen… all fantastic, expressive players.

I always appreciate rock stars that are authentic like this situation where he says, I don't know the lick it's improvised. There was an interview with Ace Frehely where he was asked about a guitar lick and he legitimately had no clue and wanted the interviewer to play the first few bars...which he did, then Ace jumped in and remembered it all.
