That is badass. Its funny how this video shows off (more so that even a live Slash performance, because of the close up, almost tutorial -like video) how brilliant Slash is. He gives you so much, but never too much, and blends simple concepts together with various tools and tricks to make songs fuckin a fuckin opus. I love it, and Niko's playing is incredible, one of the few guys I've ever seen to not just play a copy of Slashs notes, but truly emulates the deliberacy and vibe slash has. love it!!

Ok Niko, enough is enough, I just can't stand it any longer - I've an old western guitar with a pickup, but with all your amazing videos you motivated me to take guitar playing a bit more serious and to buy a proper electric guitar. Your expert opinion: For a beginner (slightly intermediate) guitar player like me, is it worth buying something expensive like a real Gibson, or do you think a lower priced Epiphone would be good enough - would I really feel any difference as a beginner?
