Wow, I just came here for accident, searching videos of this song, live. I mean, I love Axl, he was such a good singer, and very handsome too, but...I think that Myles is a little bit more. Axl force the high notes and instead of a melodic/rock voice, he sounds like shouts. In the videoclip of this songs, Axl sounds like an angel, but not anymore. Myles has a wonderful voice, he can reach the high notes easily and wow... he's good.

I've heard Myles singing on spotify, and I loved his voice....but I hadn't seen him. Damn, so this guy is ALSO sexy as hell... I'm officially in love now lol. I know Axl will always be the original blah blah blah.....but this and other GnR songs sound MUCH better on his voice. When Axl sings, he forces the notes and just shouts. Myles' notes sound very clear and easy....a sign either he has an awesome technique....or he is a naturally gifted singer.

myles's voice is just too clear that, if the guitar wasn't there, you wouldn't assume that that's a rock n' roll song. In fact, not everyone is able to sing like axl did for many long years, his voice was unique and harsh, he wasn't '' screaming '' lol, and he can reach higher notes than myles, his voice is more than 5 octaves lol. Axl's voice gives the song the 80's rock n' roll era style, he's just unique. Not hating on myles btw lol, I adore him and his band Alter Bridge.

Myles sang the lyrics clearer than Axl. He can hit the high notes without sounding like you're singing with a nasal voice. I love the original but this is the clear difference when it comes to live performance.

Man this guy is a "beast" His live playing is so sick. The way he kicked in his wah pedal in the beginning of the solo is epic. And no Slash is not the 'fastest' shredder or the "Neck-Maniac", but to me one of the best "feel" guitar players in the world.

I mean zero disrespect to Guns n Roses, but, I have to ask: Is it just me, or do Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators with Slash, perform this a bit better than GnR did, live? I'm not trying to take away the godly creation that GnR manifested with Sweet Child, but it just seems to me that in all the live gigs that Myles, The Conspirators and Slash have done together, that whenever they do Sweet Child, it just seems like there is more passion in all of their efforts, with the exception of Slash, who performs at 110% all the time, while making it look like it takes no effort at all! ;)

Its because back when gnr were together properly, they would shoot up all kinds of drugs and drink shitloads before going on stage. Slash is sober now and are the resr of his currant bands so yeah they perform it better
