I'll never get bored of watching someone react to this for the first time. It was my first introduction to the band too. I had heard women do such vocals before, but that juxtaposition between her beautiful clean vocals and those harsh vocals! And those screams are the best I've heard from any woman, and pretty much most men too. No male singer I know can switch between those two styles so easily. A lot of people are shocked at first, and then become fans. That's how it went with me. Amazing singer and band.

Adrienne Cowan from Seven Spires is very good harsh/clean vocalist and switches on the spot very easily as well. Songs like "Shadow On An Endless Sea", "Dare To Live", and "The Unforgotten Name" are nice examples of this. Very good live too. Example: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndqafMiLst_PpoE.html

If you like female vocalists that do harsh/clean vocals seamlessly check out Seven Spires. Their singer/songwriter Adrienne Cowan switches seamlessly mid song, even in the same phrase like at the end of "Shadow On An Endless Sea". "Dare To live", "The Cursed Muse", and "The Unforgotten Name" are also great songs for this.

Reactions to this song never get old. If you want to see a really good interview with Tatiana, Elizabeth at the Charismatic voice channel did a zoom one with her called tea time with Tati. They go into the history of the band and how those growls happen.. the band is from Ukraine.. Tati writes first in Russian and then translates it to English. The whole band is tight.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Jinjer! As a fan of metal music and music in general since the 70s, Jinjer has shown that they are a band who cut their teeth on the road, playing live. Tatiana prides herself on NOT sounding like a girl when she does her growls. Hopefully, you decide to go down this awesome rabbit hole. You will then experience the full range of Jinjer's influences. Perennial, Live at Waken would be a great next step. Teacher Teacher and Judgement and Punishment (one take) are also great next steps to react to. Great reaction, thank you! SLAVA UKRAINI! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🇺🇦🇺🇦

Glad to see a new victim of Jinjer. They got my attention right away when I first heard this song. Deathcore metal has become a crowded sub-genre but Jinjer is one of the stand-outs. Just for the hell of it you might want to check out Otep. She was Tatiana's inspiration to learn that technique. She's self-taught and went out to a busy highway and practiced until she got louder than the traffic noise.
