People judge Sonny based on the tracks that had the most reach, but those of us who actually got inspired by him were digging for any scrap of his music because it was SO different from anything we heard before. Skrillex opened up a lot of horizons for me, got me looking into UK stuff after I heard Foreign Beggars too

It's called Reese Bass, very used in the DnB industry. As my friend above said, Spor aka Feed Me uses it alot. I recommend you listen to Koan Sound, they perfectioned that bass sound.

Dang this takes me back to when I first listened to skrillex and how obsessed I was with his whole discography. This is one of the best eras in modern music. Hard bass, vocal chops, beat layering, all of it is so experimental but it works too well.

Yuh, remember first hearing this song. Sitting on my couch in Tempe, AZ, in a house rented by myself and four other college kids. A blue-haired chick and her bf came back from a rave to our place, wanted to show us this new shit. We had youtube on our tv... but only because we had a PC hooked to it thru HDMI. So we blasted this track, and i was exposed to a whole new world of wobbles. Nothing beats those feels. Miss the AZ rave days
