I don't know who mixed this but this is absolutely incredible sound. This band sounds so "in the pocket" too. True professionalism all around! In my 33 years as a metalhead I have seen many bands play shoddily due to drugs, apathy and alcohol. These guys really care about their reputation. Thus they become more and more successful. They deserve everything that that are working towards.

Their playing must be spot on, but the mixing and signal routing must be crazy too. Not even the slightest hint of string noise, squeaks when sliding between chords - must have some crazy noise gate automation against the click track or something along with honed af playing. The mix and performance here is equal to the studio versions of the songs. It's nuts.

@@theunexpecteduaNah it's just the isolated sound with minimal crowd noise. It's similar to how Leo does his miced. They do use backtracks when playing so you'll hear studio tracks 100%. But they're just that tight. You can tell they aren't Milly Vanilli.

I don’t see any slipknot similarities except there’s a brutality in the music. Watch the Disasterpiece DVD, as this is compared to early slipknot, and when you’re honest it’s a very different thing. 😉

I think what we're hearing on our end is just the direct sound. Only the drums and vocals are miced up. Means there's barely any sound on stage and the crowd can't really be heard. It's the modern way. Tut it almost doesn't sound "live" at this point, almost like the instrumentals has been dubbed.

Ehh… I think the added backtracks when they edited the video. There are times when you can hear the drums not lining up entirely and there’s more reverb. The songs sound spot on and are essentially mixed perfectly to the album .

@@yazychnik1брат, дело вообще не в православной повестке. У нас разная дичь происходит и никто не жалуется, а тут концерт с дэткор и грув музыкой. Вообще не в этом дело. Вопрос скорее в том что у нас в стране больше популярен рэп, поп, хип-хоп и вряд ли бы Алекс так вырос если бы остался в России, с точки зрения медийности и аудитории. У нас такая же разношерстная масса людей в стране, просто им больше нравится попса.
