Acheron by Riot was verified by Zoink, one of the best GD players of all time, and is the possible new top 1 extreme demon in geometry dash. Acheron has been in the works for a very long time, and it's finally done. This is probably the strongest case for a top 1, as even spaceUK says this is harder than slaughterhouse, which has now remained the top 1 for quite some time, even if temporarily dethroned a couple times by sakupen circles, and abyss of darkness. However it seems like it's reign is finally over. Zoink gives a very strong case for this being top 1, as he has beaten the entire current top 10, and thinks this is harder than all of them. Now we wait for it to be rated.

The history of acheron is honestly crazy. the day i beat it i was doing so bad. my best for the day was like 48 or some and then first attempt past 62 and boom i beat the level. I hope this level doesn’t get the slaughterhouse treatment even tho i’m certain it wont

Personally I feel both slaughterhouse and Acheron carry out the atmosphere of a top 1 very well, but with Acheron being more fun to play overall it'll be the better top 1.

This is too late but keep in mind that slaughterhouse is an extreme demon with extremely tight ‘‘wave’’ sections while acheron is extremely hard sections along the level

Another useless thing in my eye. Personally I lost to have any ideas why are people getting even more deeper in human limits like this, at least I could see it why, just not in complete levels (the fact could be that I hate every newer top levels, last top level I did like was Tartarus). I'm annoyed about this getting to the limits thing, even though I did build a really hard layout (I was so annoyed that I needed one to keep myself calm for a time). After the verification and rate of Slaughterhouse I lost myself in the list and became absolutely annoyed and got pissed off. (and another thing why I'm pissed of at these thing may could be because almost 2 years ago I was thinking and soon after started grinding Ragnarok for my first extreme while was satisfied that I would have a top 15/ top20 as my first extreme, and now Ragnarok is at #42, as it got so down, I lost my motivation to beat it, and literally I lost anything with I could even start / finish an extreme I was thinking of / started grinding an have a better run on it). So yeah, in short I hate all of these new top levels with a high chance of been that they're too many of them. Ah yeah, I got a bit pissed of while writing this. If I talk about a thing I really don't like or/and I don't agree/corporate with, I can get a bit too far, sorry for that. Have a nice day!

When I was first starting geometry dash and I was doing a stream, someone suggested I play a level called Acheron. I didn't know what it was, so i tried it, and i accidentally got past the beginning extended triple spike twice in a row on 60 htz. ACCIDENTALLY.

i've noticed you use a lot the hitboxes and hide the pause menu. instead of enabling/disabling them every time you can just bind show hitboxes and speedhack to the same key, set the speedhack to like 0.01 and you're done

Well when Sakupen Circles was put on the list as #1, it eventually got dethroned from slaughterhouse, and when Abyss of Darkness was put on the list, as #1, it was eventually dethroned AGAIN by slaughterhouse, so who knows. Maybe acheron will be #1 then dethroned lol
