If they had fighting self respecting men like the 300 and guys like that, there would’ve never been a transatlantic slave trade. The women have more spunky than the men, even today. Kanye was 100% correct.

John Waters (legendary director) went to the premier of this film in Baltimore. He said, in 2022: "They had a red carpet. Dionne stepped out of the limo and somebody yelled 'gimme a dollar bitch, gimme a dollar' which made me laugh so hard. I've never been able to forget it. She wasn't expecting that". 😂😂😂

I cringe to think of the vast wealth built on the backs of such atrocities. 😰

This 1969 movie starring singer Dionne Warwick is a history lesson we don't want taught? Why did we make it, then ...? I don't understand. It seems like we made it, for the point of teaching the lesson. And here it is almost 60 years later, still available.

You are soooooo correct they do not want their children to know the REAL TRUTH ABOUT SLAVERY‼️

Yeah its in the past. Just forget about slavery. Just like we are supposed to forget about the Holocaust.

Didn't really realize until seeing this just how much Teyona Taylor looks like her. She would be a good choice 4 her biopic
