I know this is a two year old comment, but one thing I saw someone mention that Jonny has continued involvement in rehab. He’s constantly sponsoring and supporting others now, where he never did that before. He said having others depend on him actually helps him keep sober. Which makes perfect sense and for him to even be able to recognize that, shows immense growth from the MacBook days.

As much as i know, that jonny is a very talented singer, live and recorded, I dont ever listen to anything he does. I just refuse to encourage him. As harsh as that sounds, he needs to hit rock bottom to accept that he needs to get clean.

Slaves is hands down one of my favorite bands, saw them six times with Jonny and once so far with Matt. Love everything they've put out, definitely check out some of their other stuff you'll dig it!

Jonny Craig was their vocalist for the first 2 albums, but he has a heavy history of drug problems that he was removed from the band for. Matt McAndrew is the vocalist for their upcoming album, and despite not having as unique of a voice as Jonny, he's very good; well educated in the craft and was a runner up on a season of The Voice.

He’s got more than drug problems. He’s a piece of trash, but drug addiction can turn anyone into garbage. I’ll never stop appreciating his voice:music though. I can compartmentalize the two. Hope he’s doing better these days though

D-gibby no doubt has the best reaction videos in the scene!! On this track and their earlier material, the singer's name is Jonny Craig. He is Canadian so that's where the drake reference comes in! He's got an amazing voice and used to front other notable bands like Dance Gavin Dance, and Emarosa. He has had a fair share of controversies from drug abuse to the infamous MacBook scam. Jonny is the only musician I listen to who really makes me question "can you separate the art from the artist?". It's hard to condemn all the people involved in the creation of this music, because of Jonny's behavior. DGD have a ton of great songs from the Jonny era, and Slaves have written some songs I like too, especially 'Patience Is The Virtue', an absolute banger, you should definitely check it out if you haven't.

Hands Like Houses Overthinking Issues- Home soon If you want to do some metal, you could do Bury your dead, my favorites by them are Posion Apple, House of Straw, Magnolia(my favorite) but maybe a good one to react to is the color of money. One of the albums is all songs named after tom cruise films and the other titles reference Grimm stories on the other album. They are obscure so I dont blame you. But, BRO, I dont know what kinda worship songs you listen to but it would be cool to see you react. Kirk Franklin, Big Daddy Weave, Israel Houghton, especially live, almost identical to studio versions.
