as a mere excercise: what could be worst? i tried some combination, but i did not get something really stronger. perhaps tottenham is slightly stronger than borussia, but perhaps not. barcelona and borussia are especially strong in group stage, and inter is almost a second tier team, still trapoed in third tier because of bad years.

Some people here have posted the final group standings, while others have said Slavia played really well and that the group standings don't show it properly. I feel the same way, so I decided to write a longer review with the actual scores from the matches against the big clubs to explain it better. Let's take a closer look at their results: Internazionale 1-1 Slavia Prague Olayinka 63' (SLAVIA) Barella 90+2' Slavia Prague 0-2 Borussia Dortmund Hakimi 35', 89' Slavia Prague 1-2 Barcelona Messi 3' Bořil 50' (SLAVIA) Olayinka 57' own goal Barcelona 0-0 Slavia Prague Slavia Prague 1-3 Internazionale Martínez 19' Souček 37' (SLAVIA) Lukaku 81' Martínez 88' Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Slavia Prague Sancho 10' Souček 43' (SLAVIA) Brandt 61' What's truly impressive is that in many matches, Slavia Prague was only narrowly defeated or held their own against some of Europe's top clubs, securing a draw against both Inter and Barca and Slavia wasn't far from defeating any of the teams. Kudos to Slavia, great performance that won't be forgotten.

@Tobin Heincy Well that's not total true. Shakhtar and Zenit are no weaker than Slavia. I don't think they are much stronger either. But more or less on the same level. Depends on a year. But, like, these three are indeed best teams east of Germany (which doesn't include Austria and Croatia).

yea i liked the world cup in brazil. i have seen the matches against greece and then netherlands. they have fought nicely! i remember it quite good. the penalty shootout in both matches. the first one have won costa rica and netherlands the second one. and then netherlands have lost to argentina also on penalty shootout :D. there have been lots of penalty shootouts.
