I can't believe Jeff ever had that hair cut. I do remember he was a big punk fan back then however.

Ya, I believe you that there is an '83 demo. Played this song back again & there are bigger differences than I noticed the first time.-fuck they were good from day one, Show No Mercy is the greatest debut record ever made, I still play it alot & I got my first copy back in '84!! I would like to get a good copy of the demo.

I can tell you this demo exists, tracks on the tape are 'Black Magic', 'The Antichrist' & 'Fight Till Death'.

It's not any demo. You can recognise it as it slows down in the last verse after solo as recorded on Show no Mercy!

They also recorded Aggressive Perfector for the metal massacre 3 compilation album. I don't remember if it was recorded before show no mercy or during the sessions for show no mercy.

this is the original track without the fade in, the reverb or delay that tom has in this song, and somebody did something to the song because it sound like "old". It's easy to know this is not a home-made recording 'cause of the sound of the drum, is has reverb and it doesn't sound like an acoustic drum at all, you can notice that it was edited...penis

Actually there are several short demos and a few rehearsals floating around these days. I'd like a copy of this one, though.

Thanks for keeping this track posted for so long, but is there any chance of posting the other 2 tracks from the demo? I can't find the Slayer demo anywhere. There are a few fakes out there and rehearsals but that's it. You'd think being one of the Big Four, it would be about as common as No Life Til Leather, Last Rites and the Anthrax demos.

It's the original version of the track without the fade-in that was used on the album. It's not "the same track with the bass turned up", it's just unmixed and most likely taken from a 2nd or 3rd gen tape.

If you seriously cant hear that this is the same version like the album, i dont know if your hearing is okay. Demo or not.
