MTV get so many things wrong here. Slayer are not a death metal band, they do not have a song called "Napalm Death" and Jeff Hanneman's name is not "Jeff Rich."

MTV always look at the surface about Metal. By 85/86 still there's a blurry line AT THE TIME of what was really Thrash, Speed, Power or Death Metal. If that line was said until 1987 it could have some excuses, but by 1991, when MTV tell that Slayer is Death Metal, the whole Metal scene already knew that Slayer was the king of Thrash Metal, despite being the major influence (with Venom, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Kreator and Possessed) on the creation of Death Metal genre and scene. Thanks for the video!! The San Bernardino gig had some professional footage. It was the third show from the Decade of Aggression double live album. My dream still to see some day the band release the unreleased (but completed, edited and finished) Live in Wembley, 1990.

Awesome. Classic footage. By the way, Kerry's solo on the Beastie Boys song totally kicked ass and his appearance totally ruled in the actually music video. SLAYER!!!

I love the MTV video starting at 4:20 where the describe them as "death metal" band also talk about the the slayer song "napalm death," a song slayer never wrote or recorded. 4:20. reporter is stoned out of her mind.

That's a DOPE Pontiac Ventura! The dude they cut to has the Root of All Evil shirt and that chick has the rare tie dye angel wing SLAYER shirt, I had both around 1992, now I still have some others.

"Megadeath" - of course they spelled it wrong, as usual.

@@wvmonster it doesnt have the iconic megadeth font though, it looks like slayers logo design. Looks werid

Oh, I know. I was just pointing out that they also misspelled it.
