Jack The Riffer. As a guitarist myself, I gotta say, Great name handle, dude! ...what' s more ironic is, he's got the lyrics on the teleprompter right there at his feet - like at a karaoke bar. I've been die hard fan of Slayer since I was 12 yrs. old in '83 middle school & I don't know of him EVER having the lyrics on a monitor in a show. I'm sure that was decided bc it was recorded live on national tv. Well, THAT plan backfired, huh? Put Tom Araya under a national microsope & he got nervous. I bet he hasn't used any lyric monitor screen since... The cooloest part of it for me was the fact that both Jeff & Dave back on stage together as the original 4 in a pretty recent performance prior to Jeff's passing. 😎 👍

There were people on the roofs of the buildings across the street watching and the whole street behind the lot was lined with people. It's one thing to go to a slayer show, but when you see enough people to fill the palladium turn out just to see them play 5 songs, that's pretty awesome. The producer is probably saying "ok great, get me a zoom shot of the guitar while he's doing the solo... zoom in... zoom in... oh neat! are those skulls on his guitar? keep zooming... what are those other things? are those lightning bolts? ahhhh shit! quick! cut to camera 2!!!!" hahaha

Saw them play late 80s at a small club called the Copa/Jazz in Springfield VA. Small venue but great for live music. They hit the stage at 100 mph and were doing a buck twenty by the end of their set. I was blown away at how tight they were, playing this kind of music. Amazing show, I’ll never forget it. RIP JEFF.

Wow, i can remember in very early 80's, only place i could get Show No Mercy album was on the blackmarket. Now Slayer on Jimmy Kimmel. Back then I was a satanic worshiper, now on public t.v. Thank god the world has finally caught up the old school metalheads. Shred forever.
