If he’s drunk that’s a few weeks or days in jail but they were the ones who ran onto the road and he didn’t see them so it wasn’t his fault it’s goose and the other guys fault

(I am aware I'm late) Since the DUI resulted in death, the driver is looking at about 15 years of jail time. Also, he had 7 seconds to slow down, swerve, or even just honk. Sure the sledders were in the road but if you have 7 seconds to react then how did you run them over. Not to mention, he continues to run the sledders over. That could be considered first or second degree murder, depending on which degree a jury would decide, the driver would get at least 30 years just for the murders if it was deemed 2nd degree, at around 50-life if it was deemed first degree. (Going off of google, a judge and jury would decide a punishment IRL)
