For the KAR98, if you inspect it with one bullet in magazine, you can see bullets in the magazine despite the gun being empty. Same as the CDX-50 Tremor, it seems Sledgehammer has a real problem with bullets and bolt action.

both of you make great points and i think the middleground is absolutely insane guns like the jak burnout kit but without the crazy slender dimensions. there's a certain theme in MW3's weaponry. every gun looks like an anorexic version of its real-life counterpart. it started with MW2's vector. i think all of MW3s guns look like plastic toy versions. and they can afford official licensing for real life small arms.

The bolt stop moving in game is like the Type 24 "Chiang Kai Shek" Kar98k. Tenacious Trilobite has a POV firing of the gun, and with each bolt cycle, the bolt stop moves like in the game. That might be the inspiration for it.

In zombies, when you PAP the Lachmann Shroud with the conversion kit on it, it doesn’t save the auto trigger group when you PAP it, it turns it back to the original burst trigger group.

The Kar98k reload is reused from MW’19 which is why the tac reload probably forgets the detail that was added to Vanguard

one odd thing for the KAR: when you shot all of your bullets and reload,after putting the clip in and rechamber,for some reason you need to rechamber again to be able to shoot. unless I'm stupid

In most of these FPS the rechamber animation is separated from the partial reload animation itself, so when you doing a non emptied reload the game would still think the gun is reloaded yet not having a new round chambered yet lead to the rechamber animation being played. This isn’t as noticeable on pump action shotguns and mag fed bolt action rifles. A lot of game just straight up not allowing you to perform a partial reload before the rechamber animation is finished.

Vanguard is also made by Sledgehammer, so the bolt stop issue is made even more confusing. Style Points? I mean just make a fictional gun at this point if you want that, you’ve already got a Railgun, a Futuristic Top-fed Assault Rifle and a DNA Bomb, just own up to it and go crazy, I like bizarre ideas, if you’re gonna break the logic of this game then you might as well put all the eggs in one basket.
