Personally I like the pausing and then rewinding back so you never miss a part of the song, but gives us a chance to hear your comments without you talking over the song...not sure if that makes sense at all. But I'm here for either way! Loved the reaction, one of my favorite ST songs.

Just an FYI in case you're interested. A lot of the lyric videos have the lyrics wrong. For instance the line you mentioned is actually,"glitches in the code,(not cold),or gaps in a strange dream." There are a few incorrect lyrics in that first verse actually. Where the lyric videos have,"snap back in blissful language", it's actually blissful anguish. There are a few more that are incorrect but I can't think of them at the moment while I'm watching this kick-ass reaction and the song is playing. 🤣And I can't bring myself to pause it. It's just too good to pause. 🤘😝🤘Worship 💯🔥💕✌️ Just remembered another one. Half algorithm,(not half of a rhythm), half deity. Glitches in the code or gaps in a strange dream.✌️

I like the stopping and rewinding. Being a musician myself I do this a lot in my own at times. It’s educational and studying. Sleep Token is one of those bands with lots of Easter eggs in their compositions. Vessel tells stories. Like the Billy Joel of metal. They connect the heart , body and spirit of the listener.

Everyone has different favorite Sleep Token songs for their own reasons and I never want to argue with anyone. All love for Sleep Token is great. But for me personally this is by far the best thing they've ever done. Musically it's essentially all the parts of a major classical piece done in seven minutes. Lyrically, the way Vessel uses words, it just so far beyond what most people in any genre are writing. The lyrical content is deeeeep for me on a personal level as well. For now, for me, this is their artistic pinnacle. But I fully expect them to go to even greater heights in the future. I enjoyed your thoughts and reactions. I think listening and reacting this way is best. I wish sometimes people would do two full listens to the song in the video, though.

this song hits different. I had a girl use me as a stepping stone, took her in, got her her birth certificate, GED, i drove across the country, spent years worrying about her, but at one point in the relationship she started distancing herself. I noticed the red flags, but i denied them because I thought I knew who she was, after 7 years. One day, she woke up and told me i couldn't touch her, kiss her, hug her, and she wouldn't say I love you. She said she wasn't meant for a relationship anymore. But I found after only two months after the breakup, she is fucking her cousin and juggling guys. This practically means she purely used me and never wanted me in the first place. She was just surviving off my kindness, deceiving me to convincingly keep me going until she was ready to let me go. Thats what she did, and I spent years, wasted years , on this girl. Im scarred for life, and she just gets to leave with no scars. it's unfair.

Damn brother, I'm sorry this happened to you. This is why I love music so much, it has a way of making people that have gone through something like feel understood. I don't know her and I don't know you personally, but I know this, it's time you use her too. Use her and what she did to you to grow. Like Marcus Aurelius says, and I'm paraphrasing, just like a doctor prescribes you medication for an ailment, nature also prescribes you a few pills that are hard to swallow for your betterment. Better that you found out after 7 years than for you to be married and have to live with that burden for your entire life! Keep your head up and keep pushing forward.

3:39 usually the reason I also don’t like genre hopping is because most bands don’t have proficiency or a good understanding of the genres they borrow from but Sleep Token understand and use those genres very very well

I missed your reactions, so glad you are back! You always point out something that I haven't noticed and I love how you enjoy music, don't mind either way you do your reactions. I saw them live at wembley last december and screaming together with 10k people "Diamonds in the trees, pentagrams in the night sky" & 'You make me wish I could disappear" is a core memory for me. The best live show I have seen even though vessel was sick and struggled to sing halfway through.

Easy new subscriber with this one, love how much attention you're paying to everything. If you've gone over your background in one of your videos i'd love to be guided towards that. Been a musician for 20 years myself and Sleep Token have recently become very close to my favourite act going. Looking forward to more videos, props from Ireland :) Edit: Regarding the unexpected nature of the drop, it has this beautiful soaring backing vocal adding a major harmony which you really don't think is coming, and the drum beat just adds support for the guitars and melodies to do their thing. Love the analysis!

There are 2 rendering glitches throughout this video. One at 4:45 and one at 12:31 Still loved the video, great reaction! This song was the song that made me fall in love with Sleep Token 🤘

I personally prefer stopping once in a while to comment on specific parts you enjoy or feel like it's worth talking about. If you're reacting and we're watching, we probably already know the song. I think a reaction needs pauses for the reactors sake, and for the audience to get commentary about specific things they already know they like, but it's still nice to hear someone else say it.

If you do a reaction at the end of the song it's more of a review than a reaction. I prefer soft breaks for reactions just like you did in this one where you felt you needed to react. The one thing EVERYONE misses in this song is the quiver in Vessel's voice when he has his comeuppance...or is it? He says " My redemption, eternal ascension, setting me FREE" when he says free, there are so many ways you can read that because of the quiver at the end. Wish someone besides me would catch it once. Good reaction though broheim.

They are a smart band. But the music is very reminiscent to transitions in gospel, hence the worship at concerts. It pulls you in and exploits emotions to their fullest. All good.

Synchronicity is at it again, just this morning I was wondering what the basic tuning was for an instrument I’ve played for two thirds of my life. And boom! Here you are to educate a fourth generation musician. I do know the standard tuning to the guitar, but that doesn’t matter. I know amazing musicians who don’t even know what they’re playing. There are tons of composers who don’t play instruments but have composed amazing pieces. Look up Jose Alfredo Jimenez. He never played the guitar and he was one of Mexicos greatest composers. Wrote well over 500 songs. Heard all around the world… and…. Heard in outer space, too. I apologize for the sarcasm but dude, why are you online pretending to know what complete strangers know or don’t know? Music is a great tool that connects us and brings people together. Why do you have to go all music police on a complete stranger? I would never do that to you. Are you a musician? If you are, I’d love to hear what you’re making… I might even react to it in my channel. I’m serious. I am not a hater. I love music. Probably just as much as you do.

I am one of those people that actually listened to my mother's wise words when I was growing up. And that was,"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." It's not difficult to just agree to disagree. It's part of learning how to respect others so we can live together in harmony. Very classy, Leo.💕✌️
