The choice to make it your own was a wise one. Not to insult anyone, but Sleep Token vocal covers are always just a little weak because they're attempting to replicate a voice that can't be replicated. Making the same moments emotional and weighty in your own way, with your own voice, makes this among the best Sleep Token covers there are. Fantastic interpretation on the ending segment.

Making it your own is always a wise choice regardless of the song, that's the whole point of a cover, otherwise you're just copying

Tbh, almost no voice in the world can't be replicated since everyone has its own timbre, but surely Vessel it's not one of those that CAN'T be replicated. It's more technical that the timbre itself. Many people can replicate that kind of voice pretty "easily". Of course can't be the exact same, since, as I said, everyone has its own voice. ps: surely a woman has to change it completely because it's harder for them to have those lows
