I have my favorite bands. I am a deathcore guy... however, these guys are something else entirely, like Heilung (yeah, i know, odd comparison) just something beyond favorite.

Don't worry about crying, the songs are powerful in touching our feelings and bringing them to light instead of us, I also try to run away from nightmares and other kind of troubles and just through the music I barely can find out the balance, before I vented with games or jerking off!

On first listen, I preferred Chokehold, but now The Summoning may be my favorite ST song. And I agree with everything you had to say about how ST hits. Worship!

Seeing sleep token (not even headlining) was one of the highlights of my life, no other show has compared.

TOOL will always be my #1 favorite band as they have done a lot for me. However I recently discovered Sleep Token and they won me over instantly. They actually had the same exact effect with that mind blowing feeling. So I got to say they are right there with TOOL as my top favorites.

Tears of gratitude, I completely understand. I really thought I'd cry when I saw them...but I just danced and worshipped. And yea I'm like ao giddy from this despite some heavy hits this week. I understand completely what you mean by "finding your soul mate in music". I'd been looking for a while, not quite not knowing exactly where to look. Counting Bodies like Sheep was the right direction. And I thought maybe Crosses and Sara Barrielles was as close as I was ever gonna get. (I know, weird combo but I literally have a Sara/ST Playlist because of the similar subject matter and empathetic perspective they manage to have for emotional situations.) 2021 was...just an amazing year because of the two combined I just...needed that validation and it felt like enlightenment. But yes, ST, it just felt like it fit, all the parts of me vibrating to the bells they toll. They are the sound and I am the vibration. Musically it's like Adam Hurst. I feel like the instrument they are playing. I move to their music, physically and emotionally.

Music an emotional katalysator. Nothing to shame for.

Time to grow, time to face our demons. Time to heal our shadows. Time to create. Time to heal the world. They are putting their SOULS into this music for us. There is a message. Take Me Back To Eden.
