The kids have each other & that's all they need for happiness. They don't need to make toys & then take the souls of children & put them in these toys. _''In the hour of joy in this ''Paradise'' i thought about all that could have been. If we had never done the things we did, if we had realized all our sins''_ This, too. If they had never done the things they did, all this would've never happened.

The first part of the music shows how all the toys lived in harmony after the hour of joy, they then started to slowly get insane from realizing the atrocities they did and their isolation and physical and mental conditions. All those facts slowly led all of them to get quite unstable which shows how they all can get really aggressive with each other and the player when the character we play actually comes to the facility 10 years later.

This song has so much meaning behind it..... It explains the emotions behind the souls of the toys, meaning that even though the toys are free, they are not free from the horrors within the factory, and that they want to return as children, but they can't.

At first I felt the beat was a bit too "pop music" and that it doesn't fit. But later on I i started to like it. His voice goes between happy and a mix of bitterness, also love the children voices, they are a great adition to the song, since it's about them. Seeing how Catnap acts here makes me sad about his end. He could have a saving arc.

This is the song I cried the most in my life, it's beautiful too and this video made me cry even more, when that part of all toys walking together and the lyrics in this part is "We want freedom! Freedom! Freedom, freedom, freedom!" and that vocal make all even deeper. I can understand these children, all we wanted would be a good childhood

I appreciate the fact that Poppy is like the only one that seems actually traumatized and horrified of everything that the prototype caused, even when she knows Playtime Co deserved it, but not the other innocents in the hour of joy

I just realized that Poppy feels so much like the "good guy" in this franchise because she never really smiles that much, whereas every other villain/victim/creature/toy is always smiling, contrasting what you're used to seeing "good guys" and "bad guys" do. Having details like that be flipped really adds to the discomfort and unnaturalness of the whole franchise.

I just realized something. Other than in-universe promotion and Mob Game's special "blink-and-you-miss-it" background scares, Catnap himself doesn't actually appear a whole lot in the chapter. He can't even kill you until the end of the game. Yet you still feel like he's a constant theat, because you're basically in his den, and he knows it since you see him just before the gamplay starts.

Seriously, nobody's gonna talk about how adorable it is to see Bunzo on Mommy's back? Really shows how motherly and gentle she used to be to most of the other toys.

2:40 is probably the saddest, happiest and most terrifying scene in this entire video because just the fact all the toys look so cheerful about what their doing and yet you still feel bad for them because of the tone of the lyrics the fact that their saying “we want freedom” is so heart breaking and then just the horror on poppys face afterwards is just spine chilling man well made, absolute master piece of a video capturing all 3 emotions in a single video you feel bad for their poor souls trapped in the toys, you feel the horror of what it must have felt for the humans seeing toys trying to kill them and you feel the kids joy when their just trying to achieve their goal of just being free from the constant experiments and constant nightmares of knowing they’ll never be human again.

2:14 This moment is very touching. After all, here we were shown that the prototype considers Catnap not just a henchman, but a friend. And the prototype supported him as someone dear to him.The prototype really wanted to save Catnap in the finale, but he realized that he had let his idol down and adopted a pose that shows that he is presenting himself as a sacrifice. He fulfilled his dream, namely making his god stronger.

And the part "we want freedom" and how everything's colorful, everyone's happy, jumping and together is exactly how they felt when "Hour of joy" happened. Just pure ecstasy. Also I want to point out one thing: 2:04 Theo was electrocuted, 1006 saved him and with the employee's help gave life to Catnap. The player electrocuted Catnap, 1006 came and took Catnap's life. I believe they actually bonded and were friends. To think that Theo was badly injured (suffered mentally and physically) deeply influenced his "life" as a Catnap. He was nothing but a shell, the only good thing in his life was his bond with 1006. And when he was badly injured as Catnap, 1006 gave him cold mercy. Just "You left a long time ago, but still thank you for your hard work".

3:01 the fact that Poppy is witnessing all of this (the hour of joy) and powerless to do anything is just sad to see.

This song really captures the ten years between the Hour of Joy and the start of the game. The false freedom they enjoy, the kindness they show eachother to try and be better than their handlers, knowing that it'll fall into disrepair as soon as the food will run out (Miss Delight being an early example), trying to find comfort in this silent world that only Poppy can see it for what it truly is : the same prison, only the walls are painted with blood now. The final shot with Huggy is most telling. He is standing near the entrance, he could run out if he wanted to, ram the doors open and run along. But they have nowhere to belong outside. They took the humans by surprise in the factory, they know how vicious they can be if they're prepared. And most importantly, he knows, they all know, that if they don't escape fast enough, or if they try coming back to this place where they belong, then they'll be skewered on the spot, added to the mad monster they listened to for this brief time of bliss. They're *HIS* toys now. If he wants to break them for new ones, he'll do it. And he *loves* breaking them. Boy, what a song ! What a game ! I hope the payoff is as great as the journey !

I thought CatNap lending out his hand to one of the smiling critters and the Prototype putting his hand on CatNap's shoulder was just priceless. This made me feel sad about these toys because they were left all alone in this factory. It makes me think that the toys are trying to kill you because they have literally nothing else to do

The prototype was Theo's friend even before he became Catnap. and Theo remembers this. we see this from his drawing. and although the drawing looks like it depicts a monster under the bed, this monster is closer to him than the people around him. Yes, now you can interpret events in different ways, but once upon a time the Prototype really cared about children. Well, at least about one of them.

1:38 is it just me or does CatNap look _scared_ here? Like he's spraying the red smoke as a defence mechanism or something. The way his ears fold and his stance hunches up makes it feel like he's trying to fend something off and is scared, like a cat hissing.

This song feels so eerie, sad, and beautiful because it is contrasting both the immediate exhilaration and freedom of the Hour of Joy, and the slow descent into madness as they realized what they'd done and the fact they were still trapped in these bodies, incapable of true freedom. The hour of Joy was a wonderful dream come true, but eventually they had to wake up.

The eerie vibes this franchise gives is unique like when Fnaf was first released, the perfect duality of clashing perspectives really makes you questions what's actually "evil", obviously there's a bad guy but not the monster/toys and I really support the idea that we were someone who not only worked at the factory but actually ran our own department involved with the children

The fact the song can be looped perfectly just feels like a reminder that the past can't ever be undone, like no matter how much you want to forget all of this it will always repeat in the back of your mind at some point in time. Charlie you somehow have done it again this song rules!

Im not sure if anyone else thinks this, but considering that this is an official song, there has to be lore in this. In the beginning, Cg5 sings by himself for a long solo before he is joined by the other kids. I think its safe to assume that it represents the Prototype, or Catnap, talking to the other toys and kids, encouraging them that they need to stick together and rebell against the employees preforming these horrible experiments on them. The fact that the kids join the chorus after his solo proves that the toys were on board, backing up the prototype and meeting to have the "Hour of Joy". Im sure everyone can figure that out on their own though. I am a little curious on what Poppy is doing in all this, though. When we first see her, she turns to look at the camera, almost in a curious glance. Then we next see her, she runs towards the camera reaching to grab the camera as if she is trying to save someone. Then, we see her traumatized, next to blood being splashed on the wall. I have two theories: One, is that she originally supported the Hour of Joy, or the idea of it, before it occured. But, when she sees the true damage, the killing of innocents, she realizes that this is a big mistake. She tries to save someone, presumably one of the innocent, but the person gets killed, probably by Huggy. She then stands next to the dead body, traumatized. My second theory is that she never knew about the plan for the Hour of Joy in the first place. The first scene of her could also depict her confusion on why all the toys are gathering, soon seeing what they were planning. Same as the top part, she tries to save someone, fails, and left traumatized and mourn the innocent by whoever killed the person. Either way, she argues against the others after the Hour of Joy took place, that it was a mistake and should have never happened. We all know what happens next: The Prototype puts her in the glass box, with all of the toys watching, to serve as a warning to anyone who goes against him. And she stays there until us, the Player, come back to the company after 10 years.. Any other ideas? Other theories? Let me know what you guys think down below
