4 жыл бұрынHighlights of 36 hours journey from Toronto to Winnipeg via rail in fall season (October) in Sleeper Plus Class! Beautiful journey and breathtaking views. I have put few beautiful views from my journey. I am a vegan. Dinner served was awesome and brunch was okay. Snacks were available all the time. There was an observation deck and few short halts. Weather wasn't super favourable, it rained and was dark next day.

Excellent video I've been traveling on Via rail for 40 years..and my favorite is on the Canadian..love the view and great food...

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I've rode this train Toronto to Vancouver twice and one section a few more times. Not much for videoing myself, so I do enjoy seeing the trip through someone else's eyes and efforts!

I’ve been travelling from mirimichi to montreal for over 30 years then on to Ont to either Cornwall or Kingston Ont .I always take. Bedroom with my own bathroom and shower I love the train was planning to go up for over two years now but with Covid it was on hold now I find the prices have gone sky high .I’m 73 years old I can’t see myself riding coach ,may have to fly which I hate to do

Sleeper class is expensive but you can get it on heavy discount in fall/winter time. Check via rail website for the updated prices. Hope this helps :-)

How did they have vegan meals? Did you have to preorder them?

Hi.. we did call them in advance and told them we’re vegan, they have a pre fix menu and have at least one vegan meal item. You can request the server to modify the food according to your diet restrictions as well. Hope this helps!

You can ask for Vegan options. They had vegan option with every meal.

Why ? our train in CANADA is so backward in time and it remains so??? we don't have enough engineers! ! ! we are in 2023 and our trains have not changed or evolved since the 60s..when i watch this video i remember the trips i made in the early 60s...from montreal to calgary with the cars with the same dome the lunch car and the sleeper car it does not evolve.. when the new technology will arrive ?? the people of via rail should take a tour and see what is done elsewhere in around the world and closer to us in the. u . s. a. ... they would be surprised.. as far as I'm concerned, we look more like a banana republic that has remained hanging over time.. there's nothing pleasing to see this video clip.. really disappointed
