How sweet. That guinea pig looks an awful lot like my guinea pig Mary who I had when I was 11 back in 2004 and sadly died when I was 14 back in 2007. I'm 28 now and this brings back good memories for me.

I bred these guys for 5 years. All of them seemed to be VERY human friendly. Maybe because as babies I would have hem curl up under my chin like a mommy did. Also they would be typically "scared" when I went to pick them up, but once they felt a gentle lifting and a secure warm hold, they melted. Constantly licking any part of me they could. They slept on me like c crazy with eyes closed. And they got demanding for being held, they would cry out even when they had fresh food and a good home. One taught itself to walk over 40 feet to get back into its house in our home after i put it down on the floor in another room. I would get them to "rumble" or "purr" but they appeared to never be angry about it. They seemed to enjoy sometimes being on their back in my legs as i gently stroked and rubbed their belly and chin and played with their feet. Did anyone have this experience?

This piggy reminds me of my Caramel who loved his lap time and napping on me. Sadly he passed away around Christmas. But I have two other piggies to cuddle with, although their younger and more nervous.

@@jaxbread7212 We had this one pig who would bite anything in front of her face. It wasn't aggression. She just liked biting things. Eventually she worked out biting fingers meant no treats, but it took a while.

The guinea pig is way more mature than what you are. Take your foul language and use it on a KZfaq channel where it's more acceptable and appropriate to use than on guinea pig channels.

My female guinea pig is just like this. I find talking to them a lot helps. They'll get used to the sound of your voice & know you aren't a predator. Letting them smell you before you pick them up, move your hand slowly when you go to pet them. & just overall spend time with them. Bare in mind though, some guinea pigs will always be skittish, as it's their personality.
