This was fun to watch. I'm 72 and have been using an ancient Nokia no camera flip phone since 2006, family teased me for years. I saw the new Z Flip 5 in the T-Mobile store and no other phone would do. Got the mint green and taking it to the store for the SIM card and hoping they have some cases.

I also traded in my flip 3 for the 5. I didn’t care for the beginner cover screen at first but when i finally got it, I fell in love. I really enjoy the pink based purple they used for the 5. Most people seem to prefer blue based purples though

I have been loyal to Apple phones but I had many problems with the signal so I decided to get galaxy s23 ultra and I absolutely love it I am learning along the way how to use it and I have no problems Also I enjoy decorating my phone and knowing about the good lock application makes me happy because some of my friends have mentioned the reason they don't get galaxy is because its not customizable but the video changes that ima decorate my phone rn :))

I combined this theme with a cute bunny theme from the galaxy store, and I love it! Have you ever considered making a keychain? z flip phone cases usually have keychain holes and I think it would be so cute to have a sleepydaze themed keychain attached to it.

I got the flip5 , but then my moms phone bricked, so I had to let her use it until she could get her own. Lol, she loves it and is excited to learn how to use it. Everyone asks her about it, and she's always showing it off. I ordered the sleepydaze rainydaze case from casetify, and it's coming monday. Hopefully, she won't take too long to give me my phone back 😂😂😂

@ronetired in my opinion, cons are: The flexible screen, you have to be mindful, but you don't have to baby it. No telephoto lens. No s-pin capability. The battery is smaller and has no dex support. Pros are: attention grabber, the cover screen is very useful, super customizable, the new gapless henge looks so much better. You have a hands-free selfie, and you can use the front camera while using the cover screen as the viewfinder. And it's hella cute. A solution for the battery is that there's a magsafe compatible case that you can use a battery pack with.

@yellowferret the first few days the battery lost its juice quickly. but i'd say around day 3 or 4 the battery started to last longer. apparently that's a android thing, it starts to save battery based on how you use your phone. for me, it has last me as normally as my iphone 14 did, which was all day. i normally use my phone for spotify, YT and twitter.

Yeah, I would only switch from S23 Ultra if you don't mind losing significant battery! I have S23 Ultra and it is a beast, we can customise it the same way - the only thing it doesn't do is fold x

Six-year iPhone user, to this! I almost returned it too - I am SO glad that I did not. I found the most adorable case for (it looks like a high-fashion handbag, with 'designer' kerchief and all). Lol! After that, I just HAD to dig in and learn the differences from Apple phones, in order to operate it. Thanks to videos such as yours, it's gone well so far. I just dumped my iphone 14 white for this. I bought lavender flip 5 and I really love it. Will never go back to iphone. I love that the cover screen now can even support whatsapp, watching netflix and everything.

I got my first ever phone in starting middle school, 4 years later I still have the same phone and it's working fine. Though my eye has been lingering on this phone & been wanting it!! If I ever get the chance to get a new one I might switch, is it worth it? I currently have an iPhone SE
