In this video, I try to explain the concept of single phase house wiring system with intituled electrical components. And also this video describes how electricity reaches our homes from the electric pole, single phase energy meter, main isolation switch (DP MCB), RCCB and SP MCB, switches, lights, socket outlets and how electricity works in the house.
220 to 240 volts are used in our single phase house wiring. SP MCB automatically switches off during an abnormal condition of the house electrical network means in overload condition as well as faulty condition.
DP MCB - Double Pole Miniature Circuit Breaker
RCCB - Residual Current Circuit Breaker
SP MCB - Single Pole Miniature Circuit Breaker
DB - Distribution Board

i think it's different things between neutral busbar and ground busbar, neutral busbar is a condition when we want to install the electrical component, while the ground busbar for carry leakage current to the earth/ground.

Why is the ceiling fan the one connected to the ground? Or all of the other appliances connected to the same SP MCB are already connected to the ground since the ceiling fan is? If so, are the only ones connected to the ground are the appliances connected to that particular SP MCB? Or the other SP MCBs are also connected as well as all the other appliances with it?

Quick question, If i have 1 × 30A stove circuit breaker 1 × 40A circuit breaker for the inverter inlet 2 × 15A circuit breakers foe the plugs 2 × 5A circuit breaker for the lights, what should be the current rating for my Main circuit Breaker, will i be fine with a double pole 63A MCB?

Yes. Green wire should be connected to grounding rod. Neutral connection also come from electric pole as well as live connection.

MCBs are effectively used to prevent any damage to the circuit or the electrical appliance during a sudden electrical surge. An RCCB circuit breaker, on the other hand, is meant primarily for the safety of human beings.

MCB allows only certain level of current to flow and it breaks the circuit when current more than limiting current flows at the time of shortcircuit Or overload. RCCB is also for safety but it works in completely different principle. It always compare the current in live wire and neutral wire and breaks the circuit when they are not same(for normal condition, currents in both wire should be same). Eg. U get electric shocked when current frm live wire flows through u to the ground (earth) without flowing back to neutral wire. Here, RCCB detects unequal current and gets itself into action. PS: answering for other viewers too in case they get same question.

@@rewardk me cleared about Rccb mcb. But electrical shop man told if there is no good earthing it will be difficult getting line power because rccb shutoff. Even a small leakage it will detect.

Im looking for advice. If someone can please help me. Im renting a unit in a complex. The landlord gives me utility bills that have ridiculous amounts. And it jus goes up. In 3 months the consumption went from 584 to 1047. I asked for him to send me photos of the readings. I dont even know what im paying for. I hardly used electricity as im not at home 80% of the time. Hes taking chances because im a woman and know i dont know. Pls can someone explain. Its a whatt hour meter its says on bottom single phase 2 wire . It has 5 digits and a red counter just next to it. The meter boxes of all the units are installed further down the complex. Pls can someone tell me how would i make sure that im not being taken advantage of. And what should i look out for. This stuff is greek for me
