I have a 2017 Chevy Equinox and been looking for a way to safely transfer my husband, after having a really bad accident with him falling. Thought we were going to have to sell and buy a mobility van. This sounds like a good solution :)

If you haven't purchased the Slide Ride yet, how can you measure the distance between the seat of it and the door?
