Cool tutorial - I like the entire thing, but I just thought I'd say I think it's a particularly clever idea to extend the duplicate layer and adjust the colour to white to make a simple border around it - very clever =D

Thanks - I followed your steps exactly but I'm seeing a little bit of the image through my white border - almost like a hard mix overlay effect?? Please let me know what i'd doing wrong?

Hi, very good video. This is working for 6:4 and 4:3 pictures or similar for me. But not for a 16:9. It is not showing left and right the hole picture. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Chris, I like your video's, I learn al lot as a beginner in Premiere Pro. My question is: when I set my White input level from 255 to zero, there are stil some colours vissable. The border is not 100% white. What can i do to solve this problem? Greetings Sjak from the Netherlands.

I like this look, but what if I'm doing hundreds of photos, is there any easy way to copy and past this on multiple photos?

Yes! I found that if you just don't nest all 3 layers, you can alt drag them... then alt drag a photo onto the 3 layers on the time line (they all have to be selected) and it will apply this clip to them!

Couldn't you just add a "stroke" to the image rather than having to copy the layer and turning it white for the border or outline? Other than that, nice video!
