As a certified Invoked Generaider enjoyer, I can confirm the deck is super bricky. You either open with Loptr or Vala + 1 or you put your hand on your deck and go home. But when we get to cook, it's a 5 star Michelin experience

As someone that played the fiend maids in the event, that was pretty good Labrynth play as best as I can tell, at least until you went for content. Knowing how to quickly recycle Cooclock with the other furniture is where you separate the boys from the men in that deck.

Gamma still negates borgor because gamma is not a target negate. Bouncing a card off the field only dodges a target. Could be a destruction effect or a negation effect. Targets happen after the chain begins resolving, not before. So if a card that was targeted leaves the field before that effect in the chain resolves, there's no longer a monster to target and thus, the effect that's as targeting it cannot resolve. Gamma and ash blossom do not target to negate so bouncing your card doesn't dodge the negation. Veiler and imperm DO target to negate though so bouncing a card back would stop it from being negated by those.

Being able to recycle sky god to use slifer was actually a really cool way to make it usable. And made for a more interesting watch than other videos where it's just a deck that's already incredible with just a one of god put in as a brick

Obelisk works really well in lab too! You can use furniture to discard soul energy max, then banish it from grave to search obelisk and immediately normal summon it

Mad respect for trying a new deck in Master tho, specifically Labrynth which has so many quirks, I've also played it and I too felt the pain of many misplays before learning the deck 😂

In ur intro duel you mentioned how your extra deck is just filler it can be used for so much more By simply playing 1 dogmatika punishment it allows you to play cards in your extra deck like Elder Entity N'tss(for an extra pop after DP resolves), and Tri-brigade arms B2 to pop big monsters then when he hits the GY resolve his effect send Garura and get a free draw. You can also play fossil warrior skull knight, and fossil machine skull wagon for the same effect but they don't come up as often.

That was pretty good for a first time using labrynth, even though there was a lot of miss play's you pretty much got it down. while i have alot of tips i can give you the main one is that your extra deck matters a bit more. cards like ntss and garuda will help alot when using dogmatica punishment, there a few more that disrupts or give advantage even if the main goal is to summon slifer.

I see the design traits of Yuya in the thumbnail. Makes me wonder how well Slifer pairs with a Pendulum/Odd-Eyes/Magician Deck.

just so you know, you can dodge target negates with big welcome's gy effect, to bounce your own card back to your hand, this also triggers your furniture in your gy

Tossing it out there if you continue to play with this. As someone who doesn't net deck and builds my own, I recommend using absolute king back jack, When it's sent to the gy you can stack the top three cards of your deck, then if you can banish in the opponents turn to check the top card if it's a trap card it gets set and can be activated immidetly and if it's not (I.e. Slifer) it gets sent to the gy.)

You played Lab alright for your first time, couple things I just want to note, when you're under a maxx c don't summon Torbie, it's not worth it you'll just get him next turn without giving them a free draw. Also when you're discarding something from a furniture and you already have access to Lovely, just pitch a normal trap since she can set it back for free.

That sky striker player in the replay must’ve knew you wanted that and saved that negate specifically for slifer lmao

Doto is my favorite yugioh protagonist.

Chaos angel and muckracker helps my lab deck so much. Chaos angel is not once per turn and linking it off for muckracker who can bring it back = 2 banishes. Doing this along with the normal lab gameplay is satisfying

Damn i made labrynth specifically to run slifer when the new labrynth support dropped awhile back, i didnt know it was such a meta thing XD btw theres the normal trap that sends one monster from the deck to the GY like foolish burial, can be searched with silver castle and can put slifer in the grave easily, that was one of my combos, use the labrynth spell to return 2 labrynth cards to my deck and set 2 non labrynth traps, set that trap along with sky god and boom, instant slifer

Seeing Slifer in Lab makes my finger nails peel back...

Also I’d highly recommend dark magician decks if you plan on doing Slifer/obelisk decks. Easy to use “the True name” in that deck (and crazy content if you guess the top card off the dome) Free special summon out the deck and makes soul servant not dead turn 1 with no Souls

I just use the arcana knights just because they have a quick play spell called "thunderspeed summon" which allows you to add slifer to your hand and summon it on either player's turn. can be bricky at times but the joker cards keep your hand nice and full so slifer will almost always have +3000 atk/def if done right.

Believe it or not doto that generaider player didn't use arguably one of most busted cards you can use in that deck. But definitely a fun deck to play, I think you would like it.
