UMMON is the #1 Album release of 2020, who agrees?

I am so glad that i am not that person who is stuck in the "listening to the music I grew up with" for my whole life. I would miss bands like this.

UMMON is the best Album of the year , hands down.

This band gives me hope for the future of music and I am going to buy all of their albums immediately.

These visuals from Jérémy Griffaud are just beautiful, and completely in harmony with the music. The mighty Slift awesome as ever.

You descend in your spaceship into a undiscovered planet. The flora and fauna are incredibly familiar but you never saw them, at least you think so, but that feeling is stronger than you. You been contacted by unknown forces and hear whispers in your mind “Come and you will see, enter the forest”. You start walking, deeper into the forest until you encounter a magnificent lake, glowing at the distance. When you are in front of this beautiful and enhancing view you hear the same voice but now is clearer, “Submerge into the knowledge of life, time itself will teach you the meaning of this... Don't be afraid of the unknown” You voluntarily take off your space suit and walk slowly into the water until you are fully submerged. In that moment you hear for the last time this now familiar voice “Open your eyes” and when you opened them you are blinded by a white light. The moment you recover your vision you are in an hospital, hearing a baby cry but wait... Everything seems big and you are covered in blood, you reborn into this world like many times in the past. The only difference, you remain conscious and retain all your knowledge from the previous life. Use it at your advantage, but not for conquering the world or bring misery upon other humans on Earth. Be an example of evolution, bring joy among your fellow humans. Just be yourself and enjoy life, maybe we can see each other in a future one.

I have been streaming and listening to the high-quality download of UMMON for a while now and finally got my hands on the double vinyl. For starters, I have to say the only way to hear this album is in its entirety. From beginning to end. Even though I have heard this song so many times before, when I got to this song on the record, it gave me chills. A must-have for vinyl lovers. If you know, you know. Anyone else have this on vinyl?

This is heresy to say but this reminds me of what tool used to be. I love both bands and both are completely unique but this gives me those same goosebumps. Come to Texas on tour you will have some reception.

Would love to see copies of this album in the states. Little Cloud Records, Levitation, Castle Face records. This would sell well in my opinion. Hands down best album of the year and there are some great releases this year.

Cant even fully describe what im feeling when i hear this song on max volume... i just can tell that i always get also max feelings, goosebumps and cry my eyes out cause its so beatiful and makes me think i found something i searched for a very long time, everything is achievable, there are no limits. All i hope is to remember this state of mind the moment i die, then everything will be okay. Thank you SLIFT!
