Agreed...the mix on Ummon seemed a lil lopsided but holy fuck does it come together on Its Coming....first “new” band I’ve given a shit about in years...made my 2020...even the name is refreshing...

Great to hear such fresh, imaginative music. It is like it disappeared underground at the end of the 1960s and seemed lost forever but it was in fact developing and has re-surfaced now even better than it was in those days and just when it is needed. All three are great players especially the drummer. Superb

Osees and King Gizzard have lots of similarities with guitar parts here and there, but I suspect you'd have to look for a Hendrix or someone like that to get anyone doing it in such an epic way ;-)

@@BenFreund both bands use the delay in very similar ways, but that wah sound is crazy for me, its like he is always using it, turnin it on and off, puttin diferent frequencies etc, it really blows my mind

There is another band from the same city (Toulouse, France). They are called Karkara. They mix a lot of oriental melodies and surf rock style guitar into their Psych Rock. Really great. There are certain songs that feature a lot of Wah. Slift feature more Wah overall but the guitarist from Karkara creates really great sounds too. I will post two examples here.
