@@alexandroskoutsis545 That's because French Hip Hop community relies more over beatkilling and musicality, and they're biased too, and Paradox has musicality along with other elements of HipHop, he likes to be a natural, French Hip Hop is more like an all styles thing, combined with animation etc. Sometime they give shit to Les Twins too, but meh .. They should think too that everything has an evolution, now we cannot go Gaga on being Robotic or dubstep music, or even old school songs, mumble is in the mix, people like that shit too. But you could see legends like Snoop also saying that evolution is the new revolution, 'I cannot say that mumble is shit because if Hip Hop is evolving, it is for the better'.

Nah. Even when Slim was playing, his groove at 5:15 to 5:22 for example (catching the snares), was better than anything Darren and Willis did all battle.

If you don't see the technique and movement cleanliness you will always see the boys because they do a couple of choreography that were not even well synchronized. They even lose balance in their transitions and with dirty movements without technique. the boys only had good energy, but in a fusion concept they should see more things in the dances, because the juries are not only judging hiphop that many execute without cleanliness in their movements, they are judging multiple styles.

He didn’t perform as well as we expected But he was the best dancer of the contest no doubt

In the last fusion concept, which I think was in 2019, the 10th anniversary, Slim Boogie was not there. because in that event the dancers from outside of france did not go to the event because it was in a time of pandemic, the last one that was slim was 2018 where he partnered with greenteck.

@@rank0011 & Truth, hands down, Willis & his sis got robbed. Yeah, Slim is a legend and all, and I love him, but the judges were nowhere fair in their decision here. However, I admire the amazingly good sportsmanship displayed by Willis & Darren when the winners were announced. I just am so turned off by favoritism & judges showing partiality because of a dancer's popularity or number of years in the game. So wrong & unfair on every level. Shout out to Willis & Darren for being the real winners here! Keep rising up, Willis & Darren. God bless you both!

I agree slim is a beast but I believe it was his partner because when he was with Greentek they killed the previous fusion concept!!!

You say clearly, yet they didn't win? So how could that ever be clear. The reality is that this is a dance competition, not a hype competition. Slims rounds were, by far, stronger than any of the others. And the judges agreed.

@@jayc4734 eh I don’t believe slims round alone was enough tho, Darren and Williams had stronger chemistry, and had valid foundation and crowd interraction, if anything this battle needed a tie breaker to solidify respectfully, because jaja is nice but in this battle she was more of a prop till the end and even at the end it wasn’t enough time for her to truly go off, this just wasn’t even no to take away from either groups, but i do believe that if it was alower named team against Darren and Williams, and danced to this caliber, it would be a different result, and I least a tie would be considered but every event is different and judges feel what they feel 🤷🏾‍♂️

Going in as Hip-Hop Dancers against actual Poppers is like bringing a knife into a gunfight. Honestly, Hip-Hop is a mix of many dances. It does not have a certain foundation. Popping has a foundation and has brought many styles to its foundation.

No..that's a hot take. First round was highest level robot. Either you just biased against styles or you don't understand the style. When you judge based on foundation of dance and not based off which style you prefer, Jaja foundation was much stronger and she mastered her style better. Her style of robot is completely mastered. So who did their own style better? clearly jaja

Watch any Plastid performance to have an initial idea of this style. In a good performance, the robot is able to compete with any style. For a competition of this level, what Jaja showed was unacceptably primitive. Her performance can only impress classmates at school... "highest level robot" - lol.. Even amongst the best poppers in the world, Jaja has some of the best robot ask Madd Chadd, ask Robot Prince ask any of the OG's like Boppin Andre she already got full respect from the OG's and best poppers they acknowledge her as one of the best Robotters. A dance can be both technical and simple at the same time, actually the most simple techniques are the hardest to do at a high level because there's not much room for error and if you make mistakes you cannot hide it. She did the robot literally perfect my guy, this was flawless robot. I can't say her opponents were flawless though. I know Plasteed, he's good but this was just better than Plasteed....I'll give you a challenge name all the 5 types of robot then in dance if you know so much about it. C'mon if you're so smart then you should be able to answer this question

Jaja, execution was perfect but what exactly did she execute? Extremely basic concept. Slim didn't carry, they lost. The judges just wanted to save them the humiliation of losing their first battle to actual children. Thakfully they did better later in the competition but it is still unfair to Darren and Willis.
