I just left a comment. For those who don't speak French. I'm Swiss but think that Slimane should have won this contest with his beautiful voice and incredible romantic song. I like Nemo but Slimane was by far my favorite. I hope he would read this comment. Thank you Slimane. Just a fantastic performance.

True that. Slimane should have been first. Nemo was also a great singer who provided a great performance for us to see as well but Slimane was the best overall. So Nemo was second for me. Eurovision obviously isn't all about voice, it's about song meaning and performance on stage and Nemo had a pretty good package to deserve a great place but Slimane is a phenomenon that I can't comprehend is a reality.

You are very special, Slimane. If I have something to be happy about this competition is the fact I learnt about a great artist. and I am very critical when I see something new. What I found out it is pecial about you? First the particular timbre of your voice, your technique, which define you as a great singer. but in the same time your expressivity appealed me, the way you can transmit your emotion, the message of your lyrics to us because of your personality and sensibility, the empathy towards your audience. It is the love for all of us and it is overwhelming. The last but not the least the choreo and your elegant outfit completed your performance harmoniously. It was perfect. It is a long time I have met such a great artist. After I have seen, and analysed your entry in the second semifinal, sorry but I had to understand what happened (!) despite the emotion, I learnt in a short time your whole discography, very impressive. I can speak only in my name and say, I found your performance the best of the entire contest, and doesn't matter you didn't win the trophy, which you deserved, you won our hearts! Thank you!

Slimane has won thanks to people abroad like you discovering him now! He has been massive in France as a singer - and songwriter, for himself or others - since he won The Voice France 2016 He was looking for an international exposure thru Eurovision contest. Bel artiste au sens humain comme au sens artistique. Ce qui se fait rare côté coeur . Merci a vous . Vous pouvez être fier . La fierté de soi fait ce qui avancer. Tous les Français ont été bouleversés par cette prestation qui unit le plus beau de l’héritage de la langue française et de l’apport de sonorités et d’esthétique « orientales ». Absolutely out of this world! This performance of yours is a very rare display of singing by heart, soul and voice. At one moment I relised the music was just a decoration (no disrespect to music at all). You, sir, belong to the very top of the music world and I am sure you'll get there after this.
