The visuals & VFX designers at the Toonami division were the best in their league in the early 2000s. Knowing what clicks and segmenting properly like this is extreme talent, nowadays trailers have to spoil a big chunk of the plot to carry any kind of interest. Marvel cinematics at Disney seem to do alright but you'd expect that from 500- 1 billion dollar budgets.

Bruce Wayne was just watching from the window thinkin "this kid can fight, maybe he'll make a good Batman". I hate Terry never got the DC animated movie love like the other Robins and even Frank Miller's Batman got. I liked his character and in my teen years identified a bit with his struggles. Truly a missed opportunity.

Thanks! That fast part actually isn't much more difficult than the other sections. Just takes a bit more time getting all the clips in there and making sure the frames matchup. The hardest part in this was getting that red filter and blur/glow effect right that they used in the original.

Also I think I may have had the most fun working on this promo than any other I've ever done. I just love everything about it and it's always been one of my personal favorites. That fast section was super cool to recreate and watch the result.
