I liked what you did with both of them. I have to say that once that fake wrap around jacket was removed from Slime Violet, that dress was actually pretty nice, despite the fact it was essentially a t-shirt dress with sequins. I have been toying with the idea of getting the Swim and Style Violet but now I'm no so sure, maybe I'll wait to see if they end up on sale later on.

This just makes me wish I had gotten Margot back when I got my other PC dolls. I really like the swim doll's face, it's my favorite Violet face so far, but I worry about the hair. Your restyle looks so cute though.

I actually like Violet Willow but it wasn't always that way. I hated S1 Violet and Cheer Violet, but I instantly fell in love once WB Violet came out. From that point on I became a fan. I already bought Slime Violet and I adore her. I was also going to buy Swim & Style Violet but that quickly changed when I found out about the poly. For me hair is such a key aspect on why I love dolls, plus I've never had the best relationship with poly. There's a few dolls I own with poly hair from the early 2000s and their hair is atrocious now. If MGA wanted to emphasize the straight hair on Sunny & Violet, they should've just used saran hair. It's already cheaper than nylon but not as cheap as poly. I'm disappoint tbh but I guess that saves me money lol. Btw your restyles turned out super cute.💜

I'm definitely NOT messing with the slime at all 😂 I am playing around with the idea of using the glitter with mod podge. 😅 I did get both of these Violets but I probably won't get any of the others. 😊

I love the addition of the Green stockings to Jade, I want to do it to mine when she gets here. Had to buy her of Amazon as the new Dolls are not in Australia yet, ( nearly March and still not here! ) but after watching your review on Violet she might be my next one. I bought Amaya, and Jade slime girls, all the "Bathing Beauties" plus Sunny and Bella "Slumber Party" and the fashion packs, so nearly all the sets. I loved them from the start and only the glitter face is the thorn in my side, my Amaya is caked in it!.. Back to Violet, the stimulation this dress gives with the sequins is quite Next Level for kids, they put a lot of planning into this idea. So for kids it is a real bonus . Your right about the fashion appeal may be not my taste either but I don't mind it considering its not aimed at me really.

All of my Violets (I only have WB Violet and FF Violet currently) end up getting their clothes taken by my Storm Twins and other superior purple dolls for restyles most of the time. I am wondering if Swim and Style Violet could be a good swimsuit doner for my dolls, because if I caught her on an extreme sale, I may feel tempted to get N and V their own swimsuits... And you know that Naomi looks better in Naomi's coat that Violet ever will to me, but people can restyle their dolls how they want to. It's just jarring seeing one of my favorite doll's pieces on one of my least favorite RH dolls, I guess.🖤💜

Pretty dolls…love those smooth look of their knees..and arms. It reminds me of Barbies with their swim suit I used to play with back in early 60’s. I still enjoyed them … hoping it’s one time thing-as one of a kind in our collection. I have completed budget dolls still in their boxes from Family Dollar because of cute variants of their faces and the outfits.

Your Violet glitter face is actually pretty and sort of evenly spread on her. The sarongs I will bind the edges and make it a bit better with a tie belt.

Swim Violet doesn't have polypropylene though, I conducted a burn test and it behaved like nylon, if you don't trust me you can try lighting one of her hair strands, it should hold a flame and not shrink away like poly.

It’s been proven to be low grade nylon with the burn test tho poly doesn’t burn it shrinks while nylon dose burn and melt And so skylar and ruby have regular nylon

I hate the new dress ngl. Its so visibly dumbed down from their other clothes and looks like a troom troom art project. The dolls can be kid friendly AND fashionable, MGA. Her face is nice but that glitter is ugh. Kinda weird how her budget doll eats her up in face, outfit, and shoes imo.
