I have found a similarity with my abilities in archery with a recent discovery of slingshots. . . I will no longer buy manufactured slingshots . I've decided to build and design my own . . Mine will be constructed of either wood or PVC . . . I prefer flat bands over tubes . . Mine will be designed to shoot 3/8 , 7/16 , and 1/2 inch diameter ammo. . ..

This is spot on. I shoot at paper, walk up and look at every shot. Shoot exactly the same way, with a crisp release. Get those close groupings, and then you’ll be good in no time. Great video!

Sorry for asking a stupid question especially if you’ve already covered it in earlier videos. Are there situational criteria for the angle of the shot? I see 45, 90 and 180 hand grips. Are they merely a matter of personal preference or are there reasons for each angle? Thank you.

I'm still terrible, but after watching dozens of other KZfaqrs try to explain how to aim, I watched this vid and got a few hits. I still need to do a LOT of practicing, but just the bit about starting with the thumb on the cheek really seems to have helped right off. I'm going to keep studying this, you're giving really good instructions. Thanks!

Grew up with the "classic" slingshots , first just a Y shaped stick, then a wrist rocket . Was a great shot . Recently I picked up one similar to this and the aim point has eluded me for sure. I'll give this a go thanks

I started with 90 degrees first and for a long time I thought it was the best way. Later I started with 90 degree butterfly and said it's the best too. A while later I started with 180 degrees and also said that it is the best of everything. My friend it's much more fun when you can handle everything, I can only say one thing that 180 degrees is much easier and more comfortable to shoot.❤️👍

You are holding your slingshot two different ways, Horizontal and at a 45-degree angle. Are the aiming the same way? Thanks. Craig

The fork hit is an indication that you were not at an angle when aiming.👍

@ First time i used katapel. I practice around 1 hour ++ It works pretty good. Amazing techniques. I can shot more accurate than before. I practice shot from 5 meter to 8 meter. But still i need to do lot of practice to improve accuracy and spontaneous in right position. Thank again 💖💖

Mate,just starting with sigshots........ following your vids(which are excellent by the way)but.....lol,still getting fork and had hit(which hurt a hell of a lot lol)any extra tips to stop this from happening,used to shoot a long bow,so applying some of them methods......elbow up, dominant eye,thanks,lee

Excellent tutorial. The first and second positions of the thumb were right on the cheek bone, but on the third, you didn't really stress the position of the thumb being higher on the face next to the eye. I was expecting you to show it but you really didn't. I guess that if one pays close attention to the demonstration, one can see the difference. But overall, no need for words, it's all self explanatory.
