Great review! Slingshot should give you a thumbs up as it looks like you’ve posted a video on their new products before they have. Unfortunately Slingshot brought these to the market 12 months too late. I’m now using Sabfoil stabs (modified for the Phantasm fuse) and they work great with SAB and Slingshot front wings.

Yeap, think Slingshot was a little late with these ones, but great you made the SAB stabs work for you. I also have the S370 and S325 in use and love them. Especially the S325!

what do you need to modify to use a sabfoil stab on a phantasm fuse?

@@petergoldbach3599 Hey, screw holes on Sabfoil and Slingshot fuselages are unfortunately slightly off. They both use T6 screws but on Sabfoil the holes are roughly 1mm further apart. So to make a Sabfoil stabi fit to a Slingshot fuselage you will have to sand down at least one hole....

@@petergoldbach3599 just a file to widen the front screw hole to an oval. The SABFoil stab screw holes are maybe 2-3mm wider than the holes on the Slingshot fuse. Easy done and well worth it 👍🏻

Fahre den PTM926 mit dem PS400 und neuerdings mit dem PS340 🤩 bin noch ziemlicher Anfänger und arbeite an der Halse aber wollte mal schauen, ob und wie auch ich einen Unterschied spüre. Definitiv ja! Der PS340 mal das ganze deutlich sensibler und agiler aber auch schneller. Ich habe ne gute halbe Stunde gebraucht um mich daran zu gewöhnen und bin mega begeistert. Gefühlt fliegt das Foil jetzt ohne Widerstand um die Kurve und beschleunigt rasanter. Danke für dein Video und die Erklärungen zu den Stabalizers… war eine ganz klare Kaufentscheidung 🎉

Also ich muss schon sagen, Hut ab. Tolles Video,sehr professionell gemacht. Ich fahre selber auch das phantasm foil und habe mich sehr über deine Infos gefreut. Unglaublich das du schneller bist als slingshot selber. Aber wo hast du die Flügel her? Ich kann sie nirgends finden. Grüße vom Ammersee

Excellente vidéo, i just got the new stabilizers so only missing the 325. Do you ride them with short or long fuselage? My quiver is PTM 926 899 and 825 short and long fuselage and 72/82/92 mast I weigh 78kg how do you recommend matching them. I’m waiting on the G107 to come out to get into light wind foiling with a DW board.

Nice set up !! I don't ride the PS400 anymore as it gives me to much of a tracked feeling. The PS400 and the PTM926 are a perfect match but I have outgrown both. In general I use PS325 on all my frontwings and if I want more speed and glide I swap to the PS340 and rarely to the PS360. In terms of mast I pump with 73cm, wingfoil with 82cm and use the 92cm mast on open ocean waves. (-:

What about the fuselage do you play with the short and medium?

@@aminefadous5875 Yes, I do play a lot! Going slow, like on downwind, flatwater SUP and pumping I really like short fuselages (Sabfoil F663 and F653). With more speed I tend to longer ones. For winging I mainly use the F710 from Slingshot.

Ich hatte jetzt 2 Sessions mit dem ptm930 und dem ps360. Das teil ist deutlich schneller als der ps400 und gleitet dadurch auch befreiter. Allerdings habe ich mir bei beiden Sessions ein loch in den wing gerissen. Ob das jetzt ein Zufall ist kann ich nicht sagen. Die spitzen des stabilizers sind sehr scharf. Vielleicht hatte ich aber aich nur pech. Grüße

Autsch!! Kenne ich leider nur zu gut. Ich habe bis jetzt noch ALLE meine Wings früher oder später kaputt bekommen. Ich frage mich auch manchmal, ob die Foils und Stabis so spitz sein müssen?! Bonobo Repair kann ich empfehlen, Faire Preise und Top Arbeit, da hab ich schon einiges nähen lasse und war immer zufrieden.

Hi, tolle und informative Videos! Danke dafür! Du erwähnst, dass du auch die G Serie gefahren bist. Mich interessiert deine Entscheidung für die PTM Serie bzw. Jetzt den Medusa Pro Ich bin auf der Suche nach etwas neuem nach dem Anfängerfoil und habe Slingshot im Auge. Frage mich halt, ob ich noch bei der E Serie bleiben sollte oder doch lieber direkt zur G Serie (oder PTM) greifen sollte. Soll ja bald der G1007 rauskommen, der mit meinen 85 Kilo auch bei weniger Wind funktionieren sollte. Hättest du da einen Tipp? Ist vll sogar der Medusa Pro 869 eine Option? Vielen Dank!

Hey, mit der Slingshot Phantasm Serie machst du als System erst mal nichts verkehrt ! Fahre ich seit Jahren und ist effizient und robust. Wenn Du von der E Serie kommst, würde ich dir als Ergänzung bei 85 Kilogram den alten PTM926 empfehlen. Den gibt es günstig gebraucht und liegt zwischen der PTM und der G Serie. Die PTM sind schneller, aber etwas schwerer zu starten und die kleineren stallen früher. Die G Serie ist sehr wenig, etwas mehr Fehlerverzeihend, dafür aber etwas langsamer. Der Medusa Pro ist super, aber vielleicht einen Schritt zu weit. Schwer zu sagen, da ich ja nicht weiß, wie du fährst (-:

@@hoppline Tausend Dank :) Ich besitze tatsächlich noch keine E Serie oder iwas von Slingshot, Ich warte gerade noch ab bis der G1007 rauskommt, um dann zu entscheiden, ob es der oder der E990 werden soll für wenig Wind. Für mehr Wind hab ich dann zukünftig an den G900 oder halt vll einen Medusa Pro gedacht, wenn ich weiter fortgeschritten bin :) Falls du noch Nerv zu antworten hast ;) Wie ist denn deine Beurteilung zwischen dem 926 und dem G900. Hab auch schon überlegt, da der 926 momentan echt günstig zu haben ist, den als Starkwindergänzung zu meinem jetzigen Einsteigerfoil zu kaufen( und dann später um G1007 oder E990 ergänzen - oder ganz was anderes? Sabfoil?) . Oder ist der G900 doch eine deutliche Weiterentwicklung zum 926. Tausend Dank und mach weiter so! :)

@@ralfgll Hey, der PTM926 ist eine eigene Liga. Er war so beliebt und erfolgreich, dass er als Vorlage für die ganze G Serie gilt, aber dann doch etwas davon abweicht. Der 926 geht recht früh los, steigt gleichmäßig, fährt sich sicher und stabil, aber dennoch wendig und hat auch ganz guten Speed. Die G Serie ist im ganzen etwas freier und drehfreudiger geworden, aber eben nicht mehr so einfach und intuitiv im Handling. Bei Kleinanzeigen bekommt man eine gut erhaltenes PTM926 Set inklusive 92 Carbon Mast, Tasche und was man sonst noch so braucht meinst schon unter 1000 Euro und das ist TOP! Wenn man dann aus dem 926 raus wächst, kann man den Frontflügel ja nach belieben ändern. Meist reicht es für den Anfang auch aus, den PS400 Heckflügel gegen etwas kleineres zu Tauschen. Die PTM Serie zeichnet sich dann vornehmlich durch mehr Speed und dadurch mehr Höhe beim Springen aus. Der Medusa ist dann eine Kombination aus beidem: Extrem wendig und extrem schnell. Das muss man dann aber auch wollen und beherrschen (-:

Hey Manu, I am not sure. As far as I know the PS325 has one degree down towards the PS400. From riding I would say the PS340 is close to the PS325 and the PS360 probably similar or slightly more towards the PS400, but that's hard to say (and measure). I did some experiments with shims and still use them on some frontwings, but on most foils I go without.....

If you ever tried a Leviathan on the Slingshot, which stabilizer do you prefer?

Hey, yes, I tried it, but you need to be carful!! The Leviathan 1350 bended and destroyed my barrel nuts on the Slingshot mast! Take a look at my other videos and you will find a tutorial on how to replace them. I will make another video explaining this phenomenon shortly. And for the stabi.....at that point I only had the PS400 and PS325 and the second one was the better one. Bu now I would go for the PS340.....

@@hoppline I'm also using the Leviathan 1350 on a Phantasm Foil with the 325 stabilizer. But I'll try some shims at the stabilizer now to get more frontfoot pressure for my 92 kg. I saw your video on the Phantasm barrel nuts but I think they failed due to your crash. But for my weight the 82 was far too wobbly with the Leviathan wing so I changed to the 87wide Lau mast.

@@vianasurfer I ended up with the Sabfoil 73K mast. With only 65kg I went for the winging mast and not the 73KP extra made for pumpfoiling. Still these big frontwings produce a lot of torque and are really hard on fuselages. I think the 1350 is probably still fine, but bigger might be a problem.

Hey, roughly 4 cm, depends a little on the frontwing. It's always good to play around with mast position a little and even when I think everything is perfect I change position slightly after a while just to see if I can improve the feeeling (-: Just came back from a session yesterday with the Medusa Pro 769 and the PS340 and changed position 0,5cm to the front just to see how it feels and it was better than before (even so I had done that a few times before)
