@@adrianbennett5707 it'd likely sound very similar even with single coils, daron malakian used a traditional strat in the early days of SOAD while playing live. One you load on that much distortion any subtle differences are squashed.

@@TheLowest Not likely. I assume you play guitar, but if you don't, I've owned both low output single coils and active humbuckers and I can tell you they sound VERY different even with heavy distortion. Pickups and amp/plugins/effects are the only factors that really matter in tone.

That is a Tele in body shape ONLY. I had this out with some slipknot kit a while back. You’re not grabbing a telecaster, tuning it down 5 semitones and making that sound. It’s purpose built. Just like you’re not going to play a country show on Jim’s ‘Tele’.

@@randhika5636 Not versatile at all. This one is not a standard Telecaster with single coils, now this one is equipped with active EMG's solving the lack of gain of a original tele. Try to play metal in a standard Tele and you'll feel the lack of gain and distortion rofl.
