Even though it's obvious they didnt exactly wanna be there, this is absolutely a classic interview and really symbolizes the time it was made. It's Slipknot at their absolute peak with all 9 members that were there since the debut. They just dropped the music video for arguably their most popular song ever (and that vid in and of itself is a total classic). The interview is a legendary hardcore vocalist, Jamey Jasta, interviewing another legendary vocalist, Corey Taylor. To top it off you got Children of Bodom's Hatecrew Deathroll in the background. That world is now gone. Joey and Paul are no longer with us, headbangers ball has been done for a longass time, and even Alexi Laiho, the dude who made the background music, is no longer with us. I was eleven when this came out. Since last week with Joey passing, it's just been f*cking hard man, literally been crying more than i have in years. To see everything you grew up with that made you the person you are slowly fade into the depths of history is really tough. Really soul crushing. Ill always carry this shit with me though, to the grave.

I miss Headbanger's Ball, that was the shit. Back when I was around 12 in 2004 or like 2005 when I was 13, me and my best friend Jayson would just go downstairs to the basement, turn the tv on in dad's office, and watch the best Metal block on TV week after week, really got me into some bands I still listen to. I miss this show, I really wish they would bring it back, big mistake taking it off.
