during the ending where they gather together and dk was in the center, they portrayed dk as the drummer and woozi, mingyu and chan as the drums and cymbals!! at first i thought mingyu was slightly off time but no it wasn't (of course he wouldn't)🤩

The most satisfying & clean part in this choreo for me is the way Jun lifts his arms one after the other, for Dino & Vernon to come forward without bumping into the arms. It's right before the "baby hold on" part in the first chorus when it's Jun's singing part and he's front center. It may look simple, but if you've ever danced in a group with formations and travelling, then you know how well coordinated and practiced it needs to be for people to move so close to each other & make it look effortless and elegant.

i totally agree with you, i'm so glad that they chose to rush filming this so that the whole group was there. However, just for my own curiosity i would love to see a side by side of the 11 member version vs the 13 member version because i think it's really interesting to see how they adapted the choreo with 2 missing members. and i know there's the fan cams of live stages, but having it filmed in the practice room makes it easier for me to process the choreo

Seventeen does knife-sharp synchronization, 'everybody can hide behind Woozi it's so clean' synchronization, so I can see why even something this good would be disappointing to them. That they put it out anyway shows they know how much it means to us to see OT13, even if it's a lil rough around the edges (for them) I love love LOVE how hard they worked to include Jun and Minghao in this era despite the whole scheduling snafu-and I'm _hoping_ RWY will be one they pull out for future performances so we can see it the way THEY want it to look.

From what I know, that day they do the choreography video was the day Jun left and go to china, that's why they are in a rush. i didn't notice that other members movements of some parts of the choreo are different, they really fooled me there😆 well, even their individually movements are different, when we look at them as a group- they look like perfectly synchronized!! SEVENTEEN is meant for 13, nothing more nothing less✨. I agree with you that it feels empty or something missing if SEVENTEEN is not complete whenever they dance with their songs. It only looks sloppy if it were to compare to THEIR own dance videos but clean compared to most. That's how precise Seventeen always is.

It's interesting how you point out how they use some of the same "vocabularies" across their choreographies; no SVT chorography is that so prominent than their Our Dawn is Hotter than Day where they reused a lot of the same choreographies from their earlier songs. Moreover, the interesting part is that the also do the same to their songs. A line from their song A-Teen is used in their web drama ost 9-TEEN. They do this a lot on their b-side songs, so if you're album listener you probably have caught a few of them

Yeah, Wonwoo said that this dance practice is kinda disappointed for them because they filmed it in hurry before mastering the details to have full 13 members before filming the MV. They was in such a rush because China-line (Jun and The8) had to went back to China for a while. I actually wonder if they'll redo a new choreo video (even like a special video/version like costume ver or whatever) since they're not as satisfied with this. I don't think so tbh but it would probably stay on their minds for a while. To me, aside from the rushed choreo change and video, it's a very party vibe, kinda like HIT but more tension releasing where you just jump around headbanging with friends lmao. Also one thing I appreciate with svt choreo is always their ways of using imageries. Like in a pop rock-ish song you wouldn't expect imageries of orchestra/orchestrating a team but it works. Also the part at the end after the bridge where DK is drumming, mingyu woozi acts as the drum following the heavy beat in the song, it's smart cause that part was supposed to be a release(?) so the idea of not being synchronized with one or two moves fits well. Also feel free to check Crush also, there's no still choreo video yet (or at all) but there's a perf video. It's not as seventeen as I'm used to (usually r&b suave and chic styles, bumzu tends to work with baekho for nuest, one example of the similar sound is Black by Nu'est, having the same few portions of the backtrack/sample), some people also said it's kinda like 2PM style but it's actually neat to see them delving into that kind of choreo so maybe in the future we'd see a more seventeen-ized version of the genre. Speaking of Nu'est too, feel free to analyze their Inside Out choreo ^^ **edited cause I mixed up Crush with Anyone

Same...you can tell that it was rush because they have to squeeze between schedule maybe...like after rtl they have to do this...recording, dance practice, shooting..doing the rock version, dk's musical, etc.... there are too many activities within how many months before china line leaves...but all in all to think of it they really did a great job and still top tier choreo...imagine if they gonna repractice it with junhao...they have to even practice again without junhao...such a talent

I'm wondering if you could check out fromis_9's dances. They just finally moved under Pledis and they've always had great choreos and like their former labelmates IZONE, they're very synchronized too. They pretty much were under Pledis the entire time so they have THAT vibe, you know what I mean?

I will explain a few things, Maybe many people don't know this. When compared to the performance stage, there they master the choreography more in detail, it can be seen in their special video attaca version (It's like a relay dance, so the details can be caught by the eye). This choreography video was recorded immediately after the Ready To Love promotion was over. Why did they hurry to record this choreography video? It's clear they want to keep recording the choreography video with the full lineup, because Jun and THE8 didn't participate in this promotion. This has happened before when SEVENTEEN 24H era Seungkwan suffered an injury to his ankle so the 24H choreography video was not uploaded until Seungkwan fully recovered because in the music video Seungkwan was replaced several times by a dance crew. If you want to see the details of the choreography of Rock With You, look at their stage performance version of the choreography. This is clearer and more detailed than this choreography video. I recommend it.
