In the last 5 seasons Chiesa has been injured for 492 days (269 for the ACL tear) we should avoid him like the plague imo

Kudus looks way more trusty than Chiesa to me. As for the Turk player "Kocku" or whatever, I've seen him play and I liked it a lot. If Gertrude from Feyenord comes in I guess that would be fine, although I tend to prefer players below 25 considering future seasons' performance and regularity.

Craig im Turkish and i watch a lot of Turkish players in different leagues such as Arda Güler at Madrid, Inter’s Çalhanoğlu, and of course Kökçü for mainly the national team though. what I can say is the guy is a BALLER, he’s an energy machine so i guess he’ll slot right in our new manager’s high intense pressing but i’ll be honest i don’t know much about Slot and his management so i don’t know how he would do under Slot (im aware he played under Slot at Feyenoord but i never watched him there). and also to replace Robbo Ferdi Kadıoğlu is a real good replacement as well. unfortunately no one watches the Turkish league but the guy is doing bits for Fenerbahçe.

Bakayoko looks great. But how many more passing midfielders do we want? I understand Slot likes progressives passes rather than the switches of play under Klopp, but I mean we have enough midfielders?

@@user-jn6sh4no8cbakyoko is a winger. he beats his man and plays a killer pass. diaz would beat his man then play a poor pass. not a similar profile to anyone really. also seems to have a powerful shot.

@@n0ttgabriel If that’s the case, they might as well get Federico Chiesa from Juventus. He is a more proven right winger and he likes to cut inside on his right foot and unleash a shot towards goal just like he did in the Euros with Italy. His contract is also expiring so he will be cheaper.

@@n0ttgabriel I wasn't clear, the midfielder comment was meant for Kokcu. Why Kokcu, if we have so many midfielders. Yes, Bakayoko looks great and coming from PSV would cost half than Kudus from West Ham. May be the typical Edwards signing.

Slot surely will still have a say might not be the final say but I hope we don’t get into a position where they tell Him these are the players make it work never works the manager still needs a say in what positions, what type of player he needs etc it can’t just be we’ve signed a player here you go make it work because that’s just stupid way of working

I think you're spot on Craig, if we had Rice and hadn't scrimped on a no:6 we'd have stood a damn better chance on the league, a few players like Dom need to step up their game too, he was great for a few matches and then dropped off a cliff, hopefully we'll go out and make a statement for a change, as many are already tipping City for the league again.

My transfer targets will prolly be- 1.Yoro/Pacho (VVD is 32 and we get defensive injuries all the time and Matip is gone) 2.Joey Veermen/Wiefer (both are from Eredivise but both have had a fantastic season) and 3. Kudus/Guitierrez (considering if Salah leaves, less than a 20% chance and if Tsimikas leaves 60% chance leaving)

I think if we sign chiesa that will put mo through the middle and play chiesa on the right, darwin not clinical enough and mo will put the chances away more often

I am a Liverpool fan since 1997 Salah is the most arrogant overrated 'fake' nice guy player we ever had. He is the reason we are crap. He is the reason Mane left (a superior player). He only scores pens, misses sitters, can't dribble, can't defend, can't run anymore. We should have sold him last summer. That crap is not worth 50k a week, let alone 350k. He was never in the squad that beat Barca 4-0 in Anfield. Shaqiri was. He is a fraud, he is a diva. I don't care how many goals he scored (which of many are penalties), I don't care about anything. He is a detriment.

I totally agree with you, he's the reason we lost the league, when he was injured we had a good run, then he came in and we couldn't score goals anymore because everyone wants to pass to him. Difference btw Pep and Klopp was the fact that Pep can drop a Haaland and Klopp can't drop a Salah .. Big decisions

Wouldn’t shock me if edwards goes big in transfer window it’s his arse on the line? N it could be another wee jab at klopp to show he didn’t want the big money players 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Only an opinion but edwards has backed himself this season by appointing slot taking the band back together but it’s his reputation it’s his way really so it would shock me if edwards backs slot to the max something worth thinking about edwards has never failed n this is a big season for him his name everthing?? If no goes let him past caring we got for 40 million for what 8 yrs he has paid us back n more so if FSG let it run down then it’s then that need to put the cash back in????
