SLOVENIA - BASE jumping

7 ай бұрынI have visited this beautiful country many times, although mostly on the way to Croatia. This year, I decided to visit it for the first time during summer. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good. I definitely have to go there again.

I'm a skydiver, but not a base jumper (yet), Does jumping with static line on low objects gives you 100% chance of not having 180 if the packjob is good? My biggest fear for my future base adventures is having 180 and slamming into the wall on the jumps that don't give me enough time to track away from the wall.

Ok, I’ll elaborate :) wind, break cord attachment, body position and other factors are involved. There’s no 100% chance in any type of BASE jumping. Base isn’t about safety, it’s about danger :) you have to make peace with the fact that you or your friends can die on any jump and the only way to guarantee your survival is not to jump.

@@XfilerD but if break cord attatchment is a factor it can give you higher chance? I know death can happen on any jump, I just rather slam into the ground at 200km/h then slower into the wall, feels like less chance for becoming paraplegic... xD
