This week, we’re back in the Wild Imaginary West with our largest monster yet, a giant ground sloth monster diorama.
The sloth may be large and terrifying, but it isn’t much of a threat considering the fact that it moves so slowly. The man and his horse are in no real danger as long as they don’t stop walking.

If anyone is wondering.. Giant Ground Sloths could dig tunnels, swim surprisingly fast (whales were a major predator of theirs), probably gallop, and were omnivores...

not to mention that they had the biological equivalent of chainmail developed under their skin and literally fought with giant bears for the best caves to sleep in

For the left over kong heads you could in a later diorama make them wall trophies similar to deer head trophies/plaques you'll see on a wall, for example you could make a diorama of a famous monster hunters house and have them hanging on the wall. Edit: Im honestly puzzled on how no one has yet to question my username and profile picture

Very cool idea. There could also be a future monster that's a hybrid of an ape and reptile. Sort of like a hydra from Greek mythology, but with fewer heads.

This is another amazing build. My only comment that wouldn't be considered glowing is that you went with a Sloth and didn't sculpt on their coolest feature: Their super long Freddy Krueger/Wolverine style claws. Whether I knew it was slow or not seeing something that big would scare the s**t out of me and running would be an instinct not a choice. I applaud the pioneer and his horse's mettle.

Been waiting for another Wild West monster, and you did not disappoint!!! The story, the craftsmanship, the final look…it’s excellent on every level! And whatever the equivalent of the DMV is in your world, I’d like to imagine your sloth is employed there 😂. Great job Boylei!

You and me both! You'd think with all of the crypto-wildlife in the WIW that somebody would have found a way to tame (at least partially) one of these fantastical creatures to help out around the farm/homestead. Something as simple as a couple beetles the size of oxen pulling a plow. Or maybe a giant snail turning a millstone...🤔

Love your work man. Can I make a suggestion on making dioramas based on some folk heros in the world? To build the world up more. Especially since this time periods like these would spawn myths in our world. Some I thought of were the following A former soldier who gave tours in a wagon with 2 mini guns. But he saved a tour group from a hurd of violent Jackalpoes from the previous build. A famous trapper who took on a entire den of bevers the size of rotwilers and somehow lived but lost his arm Or maybe someone who somehow tamed these creatures but passed before they could say how they did it and now is just a ledgend of how they did it I mighr add more since these videos always make my creative mind going

You should do another building next. Make a marketplace where hunters of the wild imaginary west have carts and stalls set up to sell monster parts like claws, heads, venom, etc. You could use pieces like the parts you've cut off from other builds there! Also really would love to see you take on a dust devil type monster attacking a ranch with some cows. Maybe Nother water build sometime soon? A structure with a big water wheel on the side of a small river maybe!

I have a couple questions for you on the off chance you read this, but one, how do you keep dust and stuff off your dioramas to keep them clean? And two, In your Wild Imaginary West are dinosaurs still around, or just fossils for mercenaries to find? (p.s. I love this series, and cant wait to see where it goes!)
