In this video I make some deliciously good slow cooker brownies. This recipe doesn’t use any mix and is made completely from scratch.

Once cooked these brownies are amazingly soft and gooey. They’re fantastic if you just want to eat them warm rather than cut them into squares once they have cooled. I personally love to enjoy these with a bit of vanilla ice cream and a raspberry coulis.
If you’re after the full list of ingredients for this brownie recipe, then you can find them below. They’re in order that their used in the recipe.
• ½ Cup Butter
• 1 Cup Chocolate chips
• 3 Large Eggs
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• ½ Tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 1 & ½ Cups Plain Flour
• 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
• ½ Cup chocolate chips extra (Optional)
Now I mention that the chocolate chips are optional because the recipe will still work fine without them. I personally love to add them as they just add a whole new level of amazing to the brownies.
As I mentioned above these slow cooker brownies are made from scratch rather than a packet mix. This is great for people who live in an area where certain brand packet mixes are not available.
These will be done in about 4 hours so they’re not a dessert you can get going too early or too late.
The brownies will also store in the fridge for a while. Once they start to look like they’re going bad then simply just discard them.
Using foil is pretty important as it helps prevent the sides of the brownie from burning and makes it easy to remove from the slow cooker. If you’re just planning on scooping it out like a pudding, then you can probably get away with not using foil.
I hope that these slow cooker brownies come out as good as they did for me. If you have any feedback, variations, thoughts or anything else that you would love to share then please be sure to leave a comment below or over at slowcookingperfected.com
